Very sorry, in my defense I did some laps in the car the weekend after posting the above - but then I forgot about it (Thanks RSS Black Friday sale).
Anyway, I've thrown the video clips into a single clip that very simply show why you're struggling for pace.
Your lap is taken from around 15-20 minutes into the race as that's when my replay starts, my K2 has run about 4 laps to warm up and scrub the tires a bit and will be on roughly the same fuel level that you should have been on.

This video is specifically for the Porsches, but if you're in a different car and are missing some seconds somewhere it may still help you towards finding them as it applies to pretty much any car. It applies to all tracks and most corner types/situations (I'm not going into that in detail, we'll be here till the new year!).

I've put the speed and pedals apps up to help with clarity - although either AC doesn't record remote car brake pedal modulation in an analogue fashion or my replay settings are too low. As a result your car will only give on/off brake read-out so I can't comment on your braking method in any real detail.
Watching what I'm doing should be helpful though as you can see how I keep weight over the front wheels using the brakes to encourage turn in.

First off, start and pause the video, then navigate to the playback speed option behind the settings cog on the bottom right and slow the video down (I'd also recommend muting it once you've done so!).
Then drag the slider back to the start and hit play - the first thing you'll notice is that you're already going 20mph faster than me into T1.
As a result you miss the Apex and are unable to stay fully on the throttle until nearly hitting the corner exit, on the left you can see I've been at full throttle for about 2.5 seconds and am 15mph up as our respective cars pass the end of the kurb.

At T2 the same repeats and you carry an extra 25mph into the corner. This makes you miss the apex again despite turning in at the proper point and results in the exit of the corner following the same course as T1.
As T2/3/4 are one big complex that first wide line destroys pace through the entire complex as you're now chasing the corners instead of lining them up.
My line from T3 into 4 is compromised as I don't stay far enough wide, I didn't spend enough time in the K2 to see if hugging the right side up to the turn-in point for 4 was faster. In most cars it will be but as the Porsche only turns under power or brakes my wider line and heavier braking *might* be more optimal, either way it will only work if you use the brakes to carry speed into 4.
In the clip you slowed too late for T4 so can't get on the throttle on time so enter the 1st big straight 25mph down.

The cars are placed as near as I can in the exact same points on the track at the start of the video segments, so any change you see in distance is an actual physical gain in that time period - hopefully the video and the description above helps you see how I achieve that gain.

The thing to remember is that if you try to make time into a corner by going in hot you may make a tenth in the turn-in zone. But that delays your exit heavily which will cost speed onto the next straight - I get to carry that extra 25mph all the way to the hairpin in T5 for 8-10 seconds of full throttle. The tenth or 2 gained under brakes has already been lost by the apex so in nearly all situations is already a loss.
It's possible you're trying to race directly with the cars around you - that won't work as the Div2's and the Capri's/Toyota's all corner fantastically. If you drive to their rules while racing then they'll win as you loose all of your own advantages.
Watch own battle with Matteo and you;ll see that even when I go defensive I put more emphasis on stopping in time for my apex/go point than on ensuring he can't get alongside - very simply it matters very little if he does as in terms of power his car might as well be a Grp2 car Vs the BMW, if I exit cleanly he WILL be behind me again by the next corner.

Lap speed is about hitting your apex's and carrying as much speed as you can, the Porsches and M1 don't really carry speed in the turns as they're so heavy and cumbersome. But they do go like a scolded cat on the straights, so you need to slow them and place them properly, to then get on the throttle absolutely as fast as you can and stay there.

Zolder has more flowing turns and higher mid corner speeds as a result but the above remains the same - carry too much speed in and you'll just hemorrhage time on the straights and/or have more issues when trying to brake hard for corners that you're coming into too hot :)

    [Columbo]one more thing[/Columbo]:
I noticed quite often in the replay that you aren't getting full throttle all the time - you might need to either calibrate the pedals or buy heavier boots!

Best of luck (to all) at Zolder tonight!
