That VRC's Chevrette is for sure a great car, although in my opinion a bit too nimble, grippy and has too good brakes for a 1989 Trans Am car. On the other hand, what do I know? I could be wrong on all of that. And maybe they just wanted to make their own version and not just as close as possible replica in the sim. I was so happy that they actually made the Audi 90 GTO to pair them up.

But I just wanna say a couple of things. Their Audi 90 comes in two versions. The "original" one and the BOP-ed one which is kind of tuned down to be able to race against the Chevrette. However, in my own testing sessions, it was proven not to be that easy. The BOPed Audi was faster for me about 0.5 - 1 second everywhere, from Laguna Seca to Road America. That BHP or rather top speed differences were not as big in Chevrette's favor, while the handling and control of that AWD Audi was like a dream after driving the Chevrette. As Laurent mentioned, the Chevrette also got an update to the rear suspension to try and handle all that, but with not much better results. Also, it seemed to me that it eats up its front tires way too much and faster, while the Audi gets a better and of course more evened out tirewear.

As far as 20 minutes sprint races, their tires will do. But definitely would need a pitstop or two for a 1 hour race.

Still, I'm definitely up for testing with other drivers in these two cars!

You certainly drove those cars more than I did Filip. But what you are writing on how the Audi feels compared to the Chevrette is exactly like I remember it myself. A championship in either one of those would be fine with me. Sitting in the Chevrette in VR is certainly quite impressive and very different from almost all cars I have driven in AC.

So you finally don't keep going with the votes counting proposal I did John ?
(3 pts for a Winner with only 1 per voter, 2 pts for a Like, 1 pt for an Agree, and -1pt for a Disagree)
We have another last problem I think : the person who made a proposal should be counted as an automatic Like for the said proposal, and if he did several ones, he should be able to officially select one of his proposals as his own Winner vote, or put his Winner vote to someone else's proposal of course.

Thats bit like learning numbers in french, what if we do final vote among top three (or more if needed) candidates and thats it?

I only used your idea to be able to give it a dislike. The point system I didn't take any further. No offence, but it doesn't need to be that complicated. 1 like is 1 vote. Simple.

True, I will add the submitter's vote to the total. But it doesn't make a difference to the ranking, because every mod goes up 1 vote.
A submitter can not transfer his vote to another mod. Let's keep it simple. I guess you're a bookkeeper in real life haha.

I'm just doing single player on weekends, it helps. Otherwise, just start a pickup "league" with a few of your friends to take the edge off!

That always helps me, anyway, here in the Northern US our off-season is 6-8 months long some years depending on snowfall, it's torture.

Nice one Ted. Didn't take much time on the setup... The front suspension needs more work but I had good fun doing this video at Virginia...

Thanks for the Preview, Jos, glad you voted for the car too! It's one of my absolute favorites in AC right now

I know it won't win, but I'd be chuffed if we could race it some day! :)

We could do a special event or 2 with the winning mod or with 1 of the losers before we start, but it would have to be on a Friday. DLC's will not be popular as experience shows.

I would genuinely love this. I don't have many races right now and primarily work weekends so this would be super fun for me! Losers 1-off special events could be fun for the things that finished 2nd and/or 3rd :)

Well, it just got my vote - I gave it a try last night and already love it despite not having even left the stock setup yet.

On the other hand I had some seat time in the Legion "BoP'd" CanAms - they aren't balanced and they're full of bugs as per all Bazza mods.
VR drivers can only drive certain cars because the mirrors don't work in several (The Oldmobile powered M1b has them looking at the ground - given that car is 100Bhp down on the competition it needs mirrors the most! This is extra annoying as I'm fairly the certain the Green/blue one is the same car that belonged to a local driver I know a few years back and I would therefore have picked it in order to play backmarker (It was Chevy powered when he had it, I can assue you it didn't play backmarker - he won an awful lot of races in that car).
That one gets a big red cross - which is a pity as I'd really have liked to go with that:(

Awesome, thank you! I'm really glad to hear that, because I genuinely try to suggest cars I'm really confident in the quality of and passionate about driving. :)

The track Stardust (CanAm track from 1967) had no trackside camera's. Tim Muttram has added those for us.
You can download the updated track Stardust here: Stardust
