I’m just curious, I feel we could have some oval related racing on SimRacingOnline! (Indy car or NASCAR). Maybe every Tuesday night?
Although I personally enjoy the different challenge of oval racing, we have never had any demand for it from enough members to make it worthwhile. It takes a lot of effort just to try and get a decent grid entry for our annual Indy125 event, so a full series doesn't promise much difference. However, coincidentally, a short-oval race has been included in the new rF2 Indy Pro 2000 series starting in January. https://simracingonline.co.uk/threads/indy-pro-2000.10444/
Actually you do, sort of. I'm glad we had this conversation because it identified I had used the wrong download link for Sebring. I should have used the link to our Download section and not the STEAM version, which has now been corrected. The reason why we are using the freeware VLM version? So that entry to this series is as inclusive to as many of our members as possible.
The VLM version of Sebring has another advantage for racing with openwheelers: its not so bumpy as the S397 version. Joel, please join the Indy Pro 2000 series, it will be very interesting!
