what kind of engine curves are we looking at?

I made a little onboard for the Alfa Romeo TT-12 that I suggested for a series, hopefully, it helps communicate the joy of driving it, although nothing's quite as good as just doing laps in it. Really nice car, imo.

I hate this phrase.

Every driver is human. And it's not like Toni's infallible, every time we're in equal cars I completely wipe the floor with him.

It's actually quite easy to get better, too, 99% of people just have really bad core skills because they've never read a book or worked with a racing instructor so they just call reasonably competent people "Aliens" for not being a knuckle-scraping ape behind the wheel. It's really easy to be fast, you just have to think.

Last time I checked, anyway, my mother isn't from Mars. I just listened to my instructors growing up and learn/stole/adapted from people better than I was until they started paying me for my advice. Everybody who's fast, slow or moderately paced has to go through this, they're just at a different point of the process. Nobody has any excuse for calling somebody an "Alien" and discrediting the hard work they had to do, instead of putting in that effort and getting quick themselves.

 

Don't worry, I didn't think of you as being an alien.

It just was semantic-redundant humour Ted, just to actually say that I indeed dislike the way you think. I don't "hate" it of course, actually I don't really mind, but as I'm a forum reader, it still annoys me when you speak like that.
There are loads of reasons for that.
I see your point and get it. There would be many things to answer to what you say imo, but english isn't my primary language as you may know and something tells me that even if I was able to express myself correctly, you wouldn't actually listen to someone else than yourself.

I think Ted thinks SRO is a world championship series where everyone gives their best to win I think most people are here just having fun, not praising herself in every conversation, and pointing out every little thing wrong.

A reminder that I spend 30 minutes on pre-race warmup - then still beat every single person commenting in this chat. Beat me on raw talent and experience? I would be genuinely surprised if you could. I know the people in this league spend 200-300 laps a week on some of the combinations - which is totally fine if that's what you want to do.

I learn every car/track combination in 10 laps, that's the difference between a great driver and an average one.

You would be petrified if you saw me at my best. Maybe that's why people pay me $150 dollars an hour for my time and you? They don't.

I think the way people in SRO do laps after laps after laps and then talk shit against me, a real paid racing instructor who is genuinely willing to help. It's super amusing to me. I enjoy nothing more than knowing my time and experience is spent helping others and theirs is spent attempting to tear me down because they can't do for others what I do; genuinely. It validates the years I've spent on my trade. It makes me know that when I die people will remember my name. It's fantastic!

It makes me laugh. I love it! I think it's hilarious my friend invited me to this league telling me the drivers tried so hard and did so well and practiced so much - then the members try to turn around and insult a superior driver for knowing better than they do. Seriously. It makes me laugh. xD

I love winning, then making people squirm. Nothing is a more delicious combination than losers whining that I know better than they do.

 

Half an hour, I haven’t practiced to the race so much in a long time So you have to praise yourself in every one of your posts. I see you have only won 2 races out of five, so maybe you should practice and show your skills, instead just talk about them I am not very convinced of your results.
