Nice grid gentlemen ! With a grid this large we all know turn one can be mayhem at MONZA :eek::D

Take it easy at the start ..;)

I want everyone take it easy and to know they are solely responsible for getting threw Varianet Del Rettiflilio' in a clean competitive manner the first time threw so please No dive bombing or late breaking with cold breaks & tires ! it never ends well  .. Cars in the back break early !..you know its a log jam up there as everyone try's to get threw..
This is a 90 min race , lets not ruin it all on lap one !:eek::D ..

Some of you might remember In last years MONZA race we did an extended manual form lap to start the race on the strait after Lesmos ..

This time we are using the standard short form lap

Please remember to respect the sport and respect your fellow drivers !

Good Luck All & See you on track !:)

I'm also finding the exact time schedule a little confusing:
server is restarted at 7pm for a 1hr practise, theres a 10 min qually session so a little confused if the race is at 8:15 where the missing 5mins is!

    Qualifying 8pm GMT
    Race starts 8.15pm GMT

Allow people to finish their qualifying lap - couple of minutes countdown before race to load race setup etc.

I'll practice up close to the start but I think my framerate is a bit low.

I confirm what I wrote in chat after the start: that was the worse experience in my entire life talking about simracing. Some of you should take a look at the replay and be really ashamed. Luckily I had only 4 laps of training during qualif and didn't prepare at all this race. But the start of this race was worse than what I ever see in the worse server of public lobbies.

    Never more.

All my works has gone out in first race in first lap. I do not want to hear apoligizes. Organization should take precaution about this.
First lap touches/accidents should be penalized harder than usual or find another way to avoid them; such a manual single formation lap. Many times has been spoken here, but still no step ahead. Cold tires+full throttle+late breaks=chaos.

Too much carnage boys, we haven't had a mess of this proportion in some time...

Quali I didn't really get a proper run so ended up 7th I think.

Going into T1 I saw the carnage and took to the escape road, but realized that I jumped the whole field by doing so, so I decided to be a gent and the pack catch up, stayed as far left as possible but was clipped by someone, spun and started from the back again. Lesson learned here, dont be a gent, next time if I have to take the escape road anywhere I'm booking it unless someone objects.

From the back all I had to do is what for the lot in front to take each other out, it was public server type of stuff, anyway dodge and weave and made it back up to 5th where I ended with plenty of mistakes on the way there. Setup sucked, tyres never got to 27psi.

I forget the name of the gent in the Bentley, Forrest is it? Good fighting, into parabolica I was well inside so I expected some room but we made contact, I yet again decided to be a gent and gave the position back and we had a nice fight for a while.

All in all, can't complain too much about my race, but it wasn't pretty to look at.

I know someone who is not coming back after today's events :/

Sorry about the contact Alex I knew you were there but misjudged my line and came in on you .
Other than that I enjoyed our battle until the pit stop.
I tried my darnedest to avoid all the carnage in T1 but under up getting pelted by a bouncing car. Damaged mine and caused handling issues from the start.
Ran out of fuel again. FFS need to get my maths right

Look Monza is famous for carnage .. I hesitated to even use it but here we are . seems no matter what you try to do someone always feels they got the wrong end & one mistake can escalate into total carnage .. Motorsports has its moments & this is not something that was unexpected and forewarned about for MONZA , all we can do it try .. Im sorry for those who got caught up in the carnage ..
I also want to congratulate the drivers that stuck with it after the carnage & there long repair pit stops . Integrity awards to all those drivers that persevered !

I also apologize to who ever that was that was in 3rd when passing me under blue flag down the sector 3 strait where we then suddenly touched :confused: ..
I waited to see a recovery but did not see that car again .. with 10 min left I served a drive threw not knowing if it was lag or my fault or what .. but very sorry for ruining your race ..

BTW I noticed that the car that won was one that I've never seen, game shows its from 2017.

So I have a question, it looks like you can pick a car from any year? And if so are they BOPed across the years? We know teh tracks are different speed year to year, shouldn't the cars be as well?
