Assetto Corsa Comp General Info

I'm planning to give it a go. I hope I'm not overcommitting myself to too many series... But a first one in ACC sounds particularly attractive.

 

I'm in 2 minds on this series. Having won the GT4 championship in the recent multi-class series I think "well I should be competitive then", on the other hand, should I end undefeated at the top. The GT4s are not as much fun as the GT3s for sure, well unless you want to crash in the BMW or the Maeserati, but with a bigger field it could be more fun this time. Oh ok, you twisted my arm.

 

Thank you, I’m not very fast with gt4 because I’ve never raced them so have no set up or confidence that I won’t crash people or ruin someone’s race. So I’m going to pull out of this one and get practicing for the next season. I feel that’s a better choice for me at this minute. So I’ll see you in the gt3

 

I am really tempting to give it a go, first time with a wheel, i still havent finish my mods (steering, shifter) but i did a good brake mod.. I did some practice with the Aston Martin and my laps was at 1:36-35.. I know that fast guys they lapping about 1:31-33 so i feel i will be a moving obstacle.. I need more practice for sure to get a better feeling with the wheel ( so far i used a pad ) so i think i will be better time by time.. I was looking for a gt4 series at ACC and race time fits perfect, so i really want to give a try.. I don know a thing about ACC servers yet, i just bought the game and still searching it.. Is there a way someone to tell me how can i find the server and do some practice there after my registration?

Was in same situation with acc few months back and think i had some hassle with online safety rating or what not...
Someone who knows more might enlighten us a little on subject

 

I'm seeing high server pings at over 200. Will that be a problem?
Typical for where I'm at. I have to go through Seattle and the hop to Chicago from here is nearly 140.

 

From a global perspective, we're practically neighbors. I'm north of Spokane about 20 miles.

Wow. Horrible race for me. Like worst ever.

The clock for after qual said over 4 minutes so I left my seat for a minute and when I returned I discovered the race had already started so I started from the pits. I didn't have my setup loaded and loaded the wrong one in my rush to get on track. Then my pit limiter button wouldn't work for some reason and I got a 30 second stop for speeding in the pits. I couldn't find the clutch engage point so killed my engine about 4 times and when I finally got rolling I forgot about the pit limit. The leaders were catching me so I pulled off the track and then decided to sit out the remainder of the race.

Oh well. Live and learn. That was my first attempt racing online with ACC. I'll be back.

To pull off? You're right about that. That wasn't entirely by choice. I was waiting for an opening to rejoin but it wasn't coming any time soon so I decided to cut my losses or anyone else's.

 

Any update on custom skins??

 

Just a question.. Is it possible to see the online times at ACC as we can see them at AC servers? I mean there is a live timing tab on the site about AC and there we can see the times that members did so far, but i cant see any ACC server on this tab..
