Hi there guys! I've decided to join this instead of the Pro Mazda series that I was originally going to do. It's a great mod I tested a long time ago, and I'm looking forward to it! the 1970s is my favourite era of F1 to drive. I was wondering which car I should drive though; am I allowed to pick any for the next round?
As you've not entered any event, yes, you can pick any car, but remember, don't repeat cars on the next events
I had fun. Couldn't see the lights and the beginning so I just waited until Kostas took off haha. Caitlin and Kostas were super fast. My apologies if someone else was racing with us. I had enough driving this red beast. We kept swapping the leads. Lap after lap, someone different was taking the lead. It was crazy for sure haha. The Gods opened up the clouds and let me finish first. Or maybe it was my practice. On a side note. Their was a certain driver/back marker that was punishing the front driver for some reason? I took the lead after passing Kostas and gained seconds on him. Then this brown colored F1 decided to jump on the track when he had lost it in front of me and I had no where to go. That gave second position time to catch up. I caught the back marker AGAIN and this guy was all over the track so I spun it behind him which through me to 5 position. Later on, this same driver decides to jump in front of Kostas and almost takes him out. It was crazy! It's the same backmarker that almost took me out!! Later on, Caitlin was almost taken out by a back marker that decided to make a U turn on track!! I couldn't believe it!! LOL. Crazies race I've ever been in or close to it. Anyways, I came in with a smile and left with a smile. Good racing all (most?). Johnny
This will be reviewed! Drivers who are lap(s) down have to be aware and know better. Unacceptable behavior! I enjoyed this race, although a bit lonely. Had a great start but from then on it was me against the track, which was very challenging. Thanks to all who showed up. See you all at Buenos Aires!
Yeah, the backmarkers were really dodgy today. There was a Fittipaldi who kept spinning every time we got close, and then I lost the lead after having to swerve to avoid a Williams who rejoined unsafely a few laps from the end. Thanks for the race though @Johnny Gutierrez , @Kostas Kantzouras and @Ricardo Ferreira ! Sorry for the little kerfuffle at the start. I misjudged how little grip I'd get!
Have to correct myself. At the beginning, I couldn't see the lights so I had to go off of when Caitlin hit the gas and then we were off chasing Rui.
Bad race for me as the setup was all wrong (just had time to practice the day before) and the car was tottaly unstable and undrivable... Congrats to the podium guys and sorry the behaviour of one of our drivers if he ruined the race for someone... not acceptable at all!
It was clear from the time sheets that Johnny would be impossible to catch unless he ran into trouble. At the end we all got our fair share of trouble and order was restored. Made a crazy race, fun to drive and watch. It was a hard track anyway, I'm sure the drivers who spun didn't mean to crash anyone.
