    Can't get onto server. No idea why as I have mods and track OK as far as I get it and checked game version. Tested with different cars, still no joy.
    Any idea why ?

    The issue with the last round was "dead" SRO package files in the packages folder. Have you tried deleting any of those? Otherwise it could be the fancy new server and settings.

    I've found out the reason was because I made a custom mod for myself and for some reason my custom DPi cars took the place of the original ones. Deleted the "custom" folders and now everything runs OK.

    Formation lap procedure

    How does each race start?
    1. The race starts by a formation lap
    2. From the second to last corner we go double file
    3. the overall pole-sitter stays ON THE SPEED-LIMITER from that moment on.
    4. Once the polesitter starts the race by crossing the start line, we all go and are free to race.

    You're not seeing the race pwd Neil because you are still Red Light for the actual race.

    Race will be rescheduled. Sorry guys. We've been working to upgrade the RF2 servers but something obviously was overlooked in the setup. Mistakes happen. John tried his best to get it going. :)

    Firstly... I know I am very new to this league but a few things from tonight stood out for me.

    First try at a race start.... even if it was wrong in setup with a FCY why did most of the drivers lose their shit and start typing rubbish in chat?

    Also.... for those that tried to keep going until we would find out this start would be aborted, it was not welcome for a DPI to be stationary on the front straight reversing backwards and forwards into oncoming cars, what are we five year olds?! Those of us with DD wheels or even those without would rather not hit a stationary car (that was having a hissy fit) at speed, not pleasant in VR either.

    If this is an example of driving standards for this league then I am out because I want to race with adults, not kids.

    Thanks to the admins that tried to get this going tonight.

    Let's all just take a step back. With rF2 updates and everything, stuff happens, it's not the end of the world. Thank god that 4 years are OVER!

    Good times turned to bad times. It is what it is. We learn for a better race next time. Just don't quite because of a server malfunction. It's a learning experience for ALL of us.

    It's not an example. I thought we would get through it by driving the caution laps until it went green but some drivers didn't know how to handle that and could not stay focused long enough to make it happen.

    Which is why I said what I said. Cars going off everywhere, people losing their shit and crashing into people that were just waiting for admin to figure it out. It was like playschool.
