Were you on a red ferrari? I dont race with tags on.. all i know is i had a 'situation' with a red ferrari at turn 10 early in the race, but i can't say there was contact.. i was pressing hard on him and under heavy braking it started to spin in front of me, but i had zero feedback on that..nothing on the wheel, no sound, no warning message, nothing.. so i don't know if there was contact or not.. So sorry if that was the case to whoever it was!! Tried my best to not scratch any paint... Actually i think i've tried too much because i went from P11 to P25 in the first couple turns someone turned me around at T2 while i was trying to avoid someone else's spin...bahh
Other than that, have to agree, much better race start from monza..
Tried my best to get 'my' spot back racing from behind, and when i was close to P12 my rift goes black.. for about 10 secs secs it was pitch black, so i braked and when i was going to hit Esc it started blinking and i got image again.. was standing right in the midle of T7 again, SORRY!
Another race to pick up some lost places, decent pit stop, car was AWESOME to drive, really loved it, all was going great on P12, and 3mins to the end, all froze and i had to quit, mehhh It could have been so much better.. but still, it was a blast while it lasted, maybe i get better luck next time.

had a race sometime ago and my pc shut down coming through final corner of formation lap

my race was alright but i had a bad start and dropped to second. good start custodio. was trying to settle into a rhythm but was difficult with the pressure from sander and Kristo behind. Suddenly old mate Sander divebombs me in t1 from like 50 metres behind. avoided contact somehow the next corner i think i may have turned too earlier into him and got damage and went off track. need to look at replay. Then had a big brown pants moment with, unfortunately Custodio having a few difficulties unlucky buddy but I haven't seen what happened yet. Then later in race some muspenthu of a driver that i was lapping decided to turn into me while i was in the middle of another lapped car. thanks buddy, more damage and now very bad pace. tried catching leaders after pitting and repairing damage but was 30 sec away after lengthy pitstop.

 

just saw the replay. I think there may be a few things race control may need to look at, especially for custudio.

It was a mixed bag for me really. Rubbish qualifying I'd been running high 56's low 57's in the lead up to race night, but couldn't seem to hook in in either practice or qualifying, so ended up 19th on the grid with a 59 time.
Race start was deliberately steady having seen the carnage at Monza I didn't want to get involved or cause any issues, kept my place but ended up behind a Red Ferrari and an Orange Merc (I think) having a bit of a bashing session between them in the first couple of laps, anyway managed to squeeze through there and spent the rest of the race in a pretty much on my own. Struggled all race for grip which I'll put down to driver error. Pace never seemed to get beyond 58's. So a little disappointed in my race pace but enjoyed it nevertheless. Looking forward to round 3, I've never done a lap there.

I was was chasing you down I had to brake about 10m earlier than I usually would not to run into you, so I wanted to just take the position into T1 on the inside , but I couldn't see the brake markers once I was on the inside and just braked too late and couldn't hug the corner and plowed off.

 

Mixed race for me. Lack of time for testing meant i was carrying too much rear wing for the race Car felt good but just too slow on the straights.
Had a steady unspectacular first half of the race following Mark Ekins for ages but unable to gain on him and he slowly pulled further ahead. But by one hour i think we had climbed to 8th? (not sure) and i took my pitstop which all went smoothly this time. But i re-emerged in 10th or 11th so somehow lost a chunk of time to a few cars (hope everyone pitted!) as think i had a healthy gap over any car behind until the stop. After a few laps on fresh tyres a BMW appeared from nowhere in my mirrors and got past me like i was standing still. Not happy with that, i gave chase to Tempera and oddly he couldnt shake me for the next 35minutes! We had a superb battle 0.6 apart for the rest of the race and very close fighting in some corners/laps he nearly got an Aston grill a few times in the slower corners it was a great battle and finished the race soaked in sweat from the effort.
But finished a not so great 11th overall
Lap1 was much cleaner this week but still a few crazies and still some jumping or manipulating the start light process. I had a car come flying past me from behind as he'd left a big gap and then he cut across my nose and dragged us both towards the wall but both survived. Keep in formation!

 

Totally agree, i got the feeling someone is doing it deliberately as it happened very early in both races now. Its annoying.

 

@Rob Milliken Awww that sucks then... i'm so sory mate. As i said, i had zero feedback on it, any sound, message or damage.. if i had any of those i would certainly wait and give pos back .
Being fresh to ACC seems to me it still suffers from the early contact issues from Asseto Corsa where the lightest scrub at low speeds would make everyone spin like crazy. I've seen other minor 'bruises' on yesterday's race from your replay file that depecit the same exageration... such a small nudge shouldnt throw GT cars around like that i think. I got bumped myself at T2 so gently, it's stupid how i ended facing the wrong way... something to fix on future patches i hope.
Meanwhile, found this when updating my GPU driver: "AMD will continue to monitor and investigate any new reports of black screen or system hang issues during extended periods of gameplay closely. Users are encouraged to use the new Bug Reporting Tool for any issues they may encounter."
Apparently its something common for the 5700 XT...
