UnitedRacingDesign and Advanced Simulation released two free Super GT500 cars: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/urd-supergt-2013.68056/page-2#post-1057261 I've raced the Honda HSV in the rF1 era and that car is a monster. An impression: (Lexus) (Honda) Have fun.
Both cars seem to be BoP'd with the S397 Nissan GT500: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=823946118 Take these 3 cars on a set of high speed tracks and I think you'll have a great series.
I prefer the original Nissan which is a free car instead of a fantasy car called 'Shiro' which has to be paid for. Besides, the Lexus and Honda are BoP'd with the Nissan, not sure if the same for the Shiro. (actually I'm a bit surprised that URD came up with the original car names) Maybe take those three GT500 cars and add the Ginetta LMP1 for a super fast multiclass racing series? Not seen very often and SRO could be the first to present it to their members.
I don't like the look of all those comments about the GTR sound being so bad. The URD car would hardly break the bank at $3.00. It's not really a fantasy car just because URD didn't pay Nissan a licence fee
I own the Shiro, some won't want to buy it, and I know there many reasons why. The two URD models used, in this free mod, are 2013 cars. Meant to accompany the, rF2 original, 2013 Nissan. Back when manufacturers still built there own, ground up, no limits, cars. Though the fuel cells, differ greatly from the Nissan. I don't know if this is to balance the performance?... The Shiro is the modern, 2016 DTM car (one chassis for all), only the shells and engines differ. Even the aero is wind tunnel balanced, drag and downforce are the same on all shells. Creative genius is lost but for at least some good. Stops a manufacturer spending stupid amounts, to make that one dominant car.
