Me too until two ACD cars conspired to go off track left and right at T1, making me take avoiding action to leave space . Such is racing life
I was consistently going slower & slower ..lol you would think after 33 laps & 45 min I might be able to navigate 1 good lap ! hah Nope ! every time into T1 I was in the red from lap 1 on .. Just could not get T1 right , only had 2 offs but just not enough practice to get into the swing of these cars .... My work hrs have returned to "normal" after 13 months of Come in "2 hrs earlier due to covid" hours , so as long as I can wake up I can make this time slot now .. Grats to the podium & hope to see you all next round ..
Another intense race with you all guy´s , with crazy laptimes practice ,qual and race. It really take the best off you, me at least. Did a great start in the race but Gerhard pace was to fast for me there , so better let him go than take us both out . Then it was a lot off action to many to take up here, was lucky to hold on to the race end. 3 guy´s doing 1:14 times I salut you all! Like to say a big thank you all for a good race, it was not so easy to pass anybody with nearly the same pace, so all cred to you all ! And a Thank you to admins for the effort and all fun you do for us See you !
Rob I invited you to join Ed & myself on the BVR Teamspeak channel so I could talk about setup etc, but the naff PC2 chat system clearly didn't get the message through to you .
I made a good start, break a little earlier on T1 to avoid contacts and be able to keep the pace with the front guys ... for 5 laps . Two spins in a row and last place , recover one place and caught Ed, keep on his tail trying to make some pressure but he was consistent all the way and every time I try to push the car just slides all over the place. I need to check my setup, car was great during first five laps but suddenly it gets undrivable. I think to much tires pressure that increases with the temperature, the car start to slide a lot and becomes very difficult to maintain the line thru the corners. See you on next one!
Thank you Ken it was as the most intense 28 min I ever seen. Then it was kind off funny to see that we all went off in that first corner, I was lucky just went over the kurbs and could save it. Will sure take another look
