    Welcome to round 5 Portland - Registration

    Portland International Raceway (PIR) is a motorsport facility in Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is part of the Delta Park complex on the former site of Vanport, just south of the Columbia River. It lies west of a light rail station and less than a mile west of Interstate.

    The track hosts the IndyCar Series, ICSCC and SCCA and OMRRA road racing, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, and SCCA autocross events. Additionally, the PIR grounds are host to OBRA (Oregon Bicycle Racing Association) bicycling races on the track and the surrounding grounds. The facility includes a dragstrip and a motocross track.

    The road course is almost perfectly flat and runs clockwise. Two track configurations are possible. One includes a hard chicane at the end of the front straight and involves 12 turns at length of 1.945 miles (3.13 km). Without the chicane, the track has nine turns and a lap length of 1.915 miles (3.08 km). Portland is classified as an FIA Grade Two circuit.

    Server isn't working guys. Looks like the GT3 Cars are the pre BOP versions.
    Aston Martin for example should be Version 1.87 but server is running 1.77

    Have you tried it again? I was just on with no issues. 1 proto was also on & I was in a GT3.

    Yeah, there's been an update to the GT3 pack that needs to be downloaded on the server.
    I'll try to do that asap.

    so it only throws the error if you choose "that car" ? because 2 of us were on with no probs ..

    I still cant get in at all. I don't drive the aston but that was the example I used. All of my GT3 Cars are a higher version than the server...

    I wonder why my install has not updated? as well as the others that were just on the server with me ..? maybe it's the steam beta branch selection? Are you on the latest as well?

    @Rob Milliken If I can get into the Server to race this week, you may want to get your screenshot button ready again... @Andy Tomlinson has given the Bentley his Magic touch!

    Well its tough..been working like crazy since start of february and only time i touch my wheel is when i take it out for races.
    Meaning havent had single lap of practice for whole series ( 1st time trying car was race 1 ), but those sessions before race.
    Anyhow was doing boost 2 and stop only once easy on fuel np but just no routine atm in driving and i feel tired. So those little mistakes and now i hit someone sideways in t1, im sorry. I missed my brake.
    so i just quit it.

    Sorry I had to drop out.

    Work has been getting to me the last few weeks and I’m frankly struggling. Too much work. Not enough sleep. Lol

    Started ok but then I just couldn’t concentrate properly. Sorry for the silly mistakes and I hope I didn’t ruin anyone’s race.

    Congrats to winners. Fun racing Michele. He's fast. I was happy following until a lack of concentration popped up again! Didn't take anyone out this time. I don't know. Hmmm, I zone out sometimes. Not understanding why, hmmm. Anyways, I raced many here. To many to name but I had fun with all with testing the waters. Good fun. On to the next.

    The skins on these vehicles are very nice. It's just more fun racing with people that have custom skins. Hope to make my own one day. :cool:
