Grats Ricardo. Well done bud. First lap. Why? I wish first lap crash rule was set in place for all races. Don't know who was involved. I really don't care but dang it. I had to serve 3 or 4 drive throughs for one penalty. Don't get it. Almost hit the escape key but Rob told me not to. Won't talk about the punt. I rear end still hurts. I was hoping to race Kostas and have fun but nope. Ok, I did have fun still haha. It's fun seeing people crash as long as it's not me? Something good. I won the Championship!!! I'll see everyone on track for more fun!
It cost me a podium finish. Car would not turn after that and I lost 3rd on the final lap. Gave you plenty of room to pass at the fastest turn on the track and you were a lap down. Oh well. No hard feelings. Had damage since lap 1 due to the carnage that happened in front of me, as Johnny mentioned. Speaking of Johnny, congrats man! Well deserved championship. It was some tough racing. I love these cars and the tracks were challenging. Hope to do it again soon. Thanks Rui for the series.
I wasn't expecting that move at the 1st corner.. i know we were side by side, but you have to lift a little before the corner.. I would not try to pass at that corner at any point of the race... anyway whats done was done, the car was undriveable, then I made a pit stop because why not... got a bit over the speed limit and got a drive through, then I tried to do some good lap time with a broken car and I crashed again, so I decided it's over already. Anyways, good races guys, congrats Johny for the championship and I hope we got the teams 1st place? not sure, LOL. I had lots of fun, cheers!
I was involved but I don't think it was my fault, as I had my nose ahead and got turned in on. I'm trying to sort it out with the other guy in a private message. Congrats on the championship!
Ah, I'm so sorry. That was a silly incident from me. I tried to follow you because I knew better than to go side-by-side there, but I misjudged it badly. My mistake.
So you drivers are telling me you can actually apologize to a certain driver because of some kind of mistake during the race? WOW, thats awesome! It shows respect and class. I like. Man, I wish a certain driver from this race would apologize to me for ramming, oh sorry I mean punting me off track. It would go a long way. You know, like hey man, my mistake or something to that extent because who really wants to turn a person in. It would show acknowledgement that it wasn't done purposely. You know, it's just being respectful. But what do I know, I race on a computer.
Well Race and championship was decided in first meters. It was a shame. Quite sad, because @Kostas Kantzouras had a great opportunity. I started quite well, but I had pretty sure people will crash in that corner, but still @Caitlin Penny, in spun, hit me car, and I got damage. Anyway I did a big effort do finish the race, and finish with a win it was big luck. First full championship here, won the teams championship. It was very good. Great job from @Kostas Kantzouras, he should won the championship. look forward.
He says in PM that it was my fault and that I should be more careful! Instead of apologizing. That's for not covering the inside going to the first corner, because it was the start and we are supposed to be cautious not to create a pileup. That didn't work, notes taken for next time.
If you're talking about me (not sure if it was you on a Ligier) i apologise, but... i wasn't expecting you'll be braking before a flat out corner, i also had damage and had to pit... Thanks all for showing up, despite the start was a big mess...
I missed the wreck, nearly, as I wound my way around the wreckage. Out in 4th and just kept going. 3rd 2nd and then 1st. J Ran about 4 laps and was holding position. Well seeing it seems a race to convey a complaint. The guy that was limping along on the outside of the track at the turn onto the new section, well here it is, a blue flag situation with the race leader passing, you decide it is a good time to cross the track to take the apex at half speed. I missed you due to my expert driving skills. I tried to finish after the repairs but the car drove straight into everything. I don’t know who that driver was but if you are a nobb I hoped you learned something and if you are an experienced drive, say you’re sorry, so I can move on. Regards Michael
I think these cars are the best. Had a lot of fun driving in this series and hope to see them again. I do note the new series F1 1978 rewind in April with cars of the same type. I hope the mod is as good and we see you all there.
