For maybe 6months, but definitely since they introduced the new -webmenu UI even though i dont think its related, i get really variable framerate around a track. It seems to be a track detail 'thing; tracks actually have alot of detail to them I'm noticing! Loads of scenery, buildings etc. So typically as i am going past the pits/ paddock and they are visible it drops to around 40-50fps, at other points i can be reaching 120+fps. No settings in the game seems to do very much tbh, the only one i think should do it is the 'track detail' one but doesnt do much at low. I really need draw distance setting
There are plugins? for what? The only thing i've started using is simhub. I don't really set up specific profiles in Nvidia Control panel either.

Same for me. I have experimented and found there is areas on the tracks I get frames rate drops. I figure it as my video card is not good enough, I even turn off animation but there are still some animations still running. My card is just a GTX 1650 4GB. The best I can set up is this; My frame rate isn't a high end performance, I set the Nvidea setting to 100% Quality, the reason I don't use performance is so I don't get them glitter jagged edges in the background.
