Hi guys, I’m really struggling round the track in the dry, so fingers crossed it don’t rain because I can’t stick five laps on track with out having a wall in counter this track does not like me one bit. But I’ll go I’ve it me all. Good luck guys and see you out there
I'm struggling massively as well. Last night i think in 4 laps of a stint last night i spun it twice. I say stint.. they didn't last long!
My apologies. I think it was Simon I took out at the top of the corkscrew. Sorry about that. I was looking at my dash at wrong time and badly missed my braking point. I am a little rusty. Forgot to hit the Drive button at start so had to start from pits, and just never got into a groove. I need to get some more practice before I attempt another ACC race. I had fun while it lasted.
I have to say - I did some laps some time ago on Laguna Seca - and indeed this track just dont likes me at all. In Lap3 I went hard into the wall - but in a very bad way so that I had to do 1:09min repairs. Anyway - I had to repair the car and then went back on track - with again some more mistakes. In the end I catched up Roger and almost Larry. My race pace was not that much off the mid pack - although I went with 120l at the start, so my chances for a good position were blown away in Lap 3 XD Nevertheless - I had fun in the back at least bringing the car to the finish line not in the last position.
Mate it was just a mistake, we have all done that at the top of the corkscrew at sometime or another. Me I’ve done it plenty of times and no how easy it is with the blink of an eye. I find this track is my worst track. Come on @Edward Jones we will see you on the next one so we can have some door to door action , thank you for your apology
That was hard work to just keep it on the track irrespective of trying to race anyone. After Simon dropped back i was stuck in watching Gymer and Selvi have a good race for the first half. I'm running my own safe strategy here so dont expect to be that competitive; +65L and tyres. Seeing how hot the tyres were getting i thought a safe option around here but maybe i could have managed it.... better safe than sorry. Second half was spent chasing the two ferraris in 2nd and third though i was obviously a lap down. Did help with concentration though. Dont get to race alot of tracks on the public servers so kinda nice to give the track an outing
