Guys, I thank you all for the races and congratulations for the organization, but I am withdrawing from this championship, I am waiting for the next one ...

Reason: It does not make sense to run with cars with a capacity of 120 liters while my car (Ferrari) has a capacity of 110 liters, because with 80 minutes of racing, those who ride 110 liters cannot have an engine map strategy that works ... In the last race I got to walk with map 6 (very slow) and even so I was forced to stop at the pit. It would take a lot of long training to build a really competitive strategy, and unfortunately I don't have time to train so much. With this difference, there is no competition, there is no dispute and there is no fun ...

I will be following the site to see the beginning of the next championship ... ;)

A hug to everyone and thank you very much... :)

I totally agree with you. This championship model grant privilege to some cars models. It doesn't make sense.
Im out too. I hope it shouldn't happen in the next championship.

I dont beleive there are any cars that have 120L tank now? ACC reduced all cars in the last update. We are all in the same boat

Check the latest update ,last 2 races have had the new BOP with same size tanks ..

    PHYSICS:
    - Added backend support for British GT BOP.
NOTE: the British GT season has its own specific BOP for shared tracks (Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Spa) when in single player (only when played through the British GT season in the UI).
In Multiplayer, the shared tracks (Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Spa) always use the GT World Challenge and GT4 European Series BOP.
    - Fixed unintended asymmetrical setup presets on various cars.
    - BOP-regulated fuel tank limitation implemented in 2020-season Paul Ricard and Spa, values set for all cars.-
Corrected fuel tank size of the Aston V12 GT3 in all BOP groups.

The challenge for this round is strategy, do you want to try and save fuel and make it to the end? Or do you go full fuel mixture and push with a 1 stop splash & dash .. that's the challenge ..
There are only 2 races left on this round .. if you want to quit we can't stop you but the fuel tanks are all balanced now :D

  8. BOP is totally unbalanced in this game.. Most tracks have an OP car, like McLaren at Silverstone, Aston at Spa, Bentley at Zandvoort etc.

At Paul Ricard the fuel tank of the Bentley was lowered, but at Laguna I could still start with 120 and finish with 5 litres left without any fuel saving required. Strength of the Bentley is fuel usage and tire wear, but this time the advantage was too much. I didn't know the Ferrari could only start with 110 litres.

IMO the grid sizes are already so small, that losing 2 drivers would harm this series even more. I wouldn't mind a mandatory fuel stop (not tires), that way you can still benefit from fuel saving by adding only 1 litres if required.

The BOP is for the 2020 tracks & both the last rounds are on 2020 tracks so the bop is in order for the last rounds.
Still, the grids keep getting smaller across the board, seems this happens every year as well & as covid restrictions lift the grids get smaller also with the weather here where I live shifting into summer my racing time is cut in half & as work schedule changes. I'm not competitive anymore anyway but I'm also real frikin old :D& need to practice more than I have time to ..LOL ..
I just wanted something different that made players have to think about it rather than just the same old thing ....

Also, this round 2 consists of 6 races . There are 24 total races in the SRO FKR ACC 2021 GT3 2021 championship. (4- 6 race series) These 4 - 6 race series are not just one-offs, all the points from each round carry over in the end to announce the 2021 FKR ACC GT champ ..
There is a trophy and some other nicknacks up for grabs to the winner at the end of the 2021 season ..This round, round 2, with no mandatory pit stops, is just one of the challenges in this 2021 season ..

You guys want to give up 2 rounds worth of points towards the 2021 GT3 Championship? The last 2 races of series 2 are on 2020 tracks with the new bop fuels tanks size so all cars have same size tanks .. So your reason for missing the last 2 races of series 2 is a moot point so please you might want to reconsider.

In December you might fall short of being the over all 2021 ACC GT3 champion by a few points if you miss a few rounds ..
You don't have to win every event to be the 2021 champion. Its all about consistency & making the races count.

These 4- 6 race series are designed to be slightly different to allow drivers of all styles to accumulate points towards the overall goal of SRO 2021 ACC GT3 Champion ..

We have 2 rounds of series 2 left with the shorter no pitstop rules, then 2 more six-race series to end the year, series 3 & series 4, one of which will be a 140-minute race length series.

It's not over until December so the idea is to rack up as many points as possible in each series.

    No balls No glory :D

I should be back for this one, replacement HMD should arrive by then, however I do have a work project on the 12th but I'm planning on having that wrapped up by then.
As for strategy and all that jazz well I've never put any thought into it because I simply don't have the time to figure it out, but that is my problem and not yours. I barely get any practice in as it is so doing some trial runs and figuring out what is best is just not for me at the moment. I just want to get in and go fast, grab a new set and fuel and go at it again.

BOP should take care of everything however I still think that in order for all of that to work as it should we still need to find the optimal race length.

i wouldnt say BoP is unbalanced in ACC. The fact that a car is stronger at a certain track than the others is just a replica of real life. The real problem occurs if a car is stronger than the rest at the majority of tracks, and dont think that is the case.
Robs been caught out by Kunos doing some tweaks mid season so its scuppered his original intent with the revised race distances.
Bit like Alex, i just dont have the spare time to work out different fuelling strategies and i havent got the patience to run on fuel conservation mode during long spells of a race, so i have tended to stick to my normal one-stop routine and hope for the best. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

    Wooow! Fighting words : )
Well, I can say proper word as using Porsche, one of the car is on the target in this conversation. If I drove the car the limit on top rev, I had to pit; I knew this because I tested in the track quite long before the race. What I did is only shifting earlier, so this gave me 0,3-0,4 lt saving in my pocket per lap. My regular lap times in the test was 24 xxx but in the race was 25 xxx generally. This is all story behind the scene of reaching to 2. step of the podium. And it was not only job done saving fuel, also saving the tires in this track. I guarantee that it is really hard to finish 80 min. without pit in this track. And almost I was going to lose my 2. position If there had been one more lap.

Yes we get our fuel tanks back... but it feels pretty hard on tyres around here though maybe i'm just pushing too hard and sliding too much, its a nice track to attack.
Done a couple of online races and some solo prctise but even after 20 mins the tyres are lacking something.

Didn't manage to get more than an hour practice is mostly trying to figure out setup, in the end no setup and no proper laps under my belt so not expecting a good result.

One word on this track is that its very hard to pass here so hopefully no crazy sends, passing here will require a lot of patience, hopefully not another repeat of Hungary :) But if you position your car right almost impossible to pass I think, this race will be won with quali and undercut/overcut.

I thought the same about over taking when I raced the ai on 96%, like you say can over take but have to be fully committed or there will be contact. Looking forward to this one because I’ve practiced dry and wet :) set ups so should be fun. See you on track guys.

I'm going to switch from the McLaren to the AMR V8 Vantage. Mostly because I've raced the McLaren for a season previously but haven't raced the Aston Martin yet.
