Seems a strange internet hiccup (my router lost the connection somehow) cost me a good finish. However, it was fun while it lasted. As always, my start was bad, but because @Csaba Lako decided to give the others a head start, I had to back out. As a result, I once again experienced the BMW turbo lag
So my car nearly stopped and most of the cars behind passed me. At least I was lucky to avoid the mayhem in front. After passing @Paul Upham I ended up in a four way fight with @Scott Ring @Toni Talvitie and @Kimi Martikainen

After Toni was able to pass me and Scott lost his car at the hairpin, we three stuck behind Kimi. Or in other words, we were part of the "Kimi train" and had the privilege to observe his spectacular driving style. I caught myself several times thinking, now he has lost his car. But no, nearly every stunt worked. As said I had to leave the party too early, although I came back after three laps, it was not the same anymore. I hope for more action without such issues in Belle Isle. See you there.

I am not gonna lie, driving in the 'Kimi train' have been the most enjoyable laps since I joined SRO.

Never raced on this track before, so the qualifying was decent enough for me.
Changing the setup a notch, gave me some more confidence in the car.

@Sheashant Limbu Did you fuel up your tank for 25 laps, or 25 liters? Was this the reason you boxed mid-race?

The start of the race was also very enjoyable (I think any Toyota driver would agree :D).
Staying out of trouble in the first corner gave me P4.
I got passed by faster drivers and opportunists who caught me outbreaking myself.
Eventually, I landed in front of @Sheashant Limbu in the 'Kimi train'.
Unfortunately, Sheashant and I had contact, probably caused by my weird interpretation of the ideal line and the concertina effect.
After mowing the grass twice, Sheashant was kind enough to let me pass him.
From my point of view, you could have continued without slowing down.

In the last few laps, not much happened, except that my disconnected teammate joined back in.
The DC lost him some valuable points in the championship :(.
When everything comes together nicely, the cars in this series are very enjoyable :)

    See you next time.

Some impressions of the 'Kimi train' :p:

Tough, hard but fun. Had to q with 6 minutes of practice time due to work. My day extended little.
Took super easy start and started to build up pace little by little.
Made some nice passes and battles and Kimi i passed with my elbows out. He was very determined but fun to watch.
    Love this track.

Congratulations to our podium winners! Well done, lads.
I had some good fun dicing with Ken who fell off the road a few times to end up behind me and I made him work to retake the place. Came to grief at one point when I thought that he was bluffing on a pass attempt approaching the chicane. He wasn't. The sideswipe had me into the concrete barriers at near on 80mph. Ouch!
I note that my ping is far higher than others on the server and starting at the back, I note that there is considerable lag with cars winking in and out off the start. Things settle down after they get spread out a bit though. I'm going to make it policy for the duration to start at the back regardless of performance potential(not that I would be threatening for pole or anything). It'll be safer back there to take the start.
