I'm not sure why there should be a rumour when all race distances are clearly shown on every race page in every series.

I heard rumours it was the full 24 hour race. Damn it. Disappointed now :(
I've unregistered from this as it's 30 degrees here tomorrow and I think it will be way too hot in my games room. If however the weather people have got it wrong and there's a snow storm moving in then I'll race. :)

On the green light we go single file in Qualifying Grid order, max speed 150kph. The Rolling Start will take place on Lap1 at the exit of Virage du Tertre Rouge corner going onto the Mulsanne Straight.

Well I've absolutely no idea why my engine blew at the 1st chicane :mad:o_O
I had drafted past both Toni & Johnny with the aid of Boost 2 and was trying to stay left in case Johnny made an attempt to repass going into the 1st chicane. I didn't get the entry right so opted to go over the low kerbs rather than possibly spinning ahead of everyone. I never felt even the tiniest jolt or bump , but when re-joining the other side of the chicane the engine had blown!! It wasn't boost related as I had run boost 4 all the way through Qualifying and the engine temps stayed normal without any problems.

I tried to re-join after leaving the server, just so I could run some laps in the best handling P2 car I've ever had at LM, but forgot that the damage before leaving gets applied when you re-join, so the engine was still dead. For anybody thinking otherwise I would not have given myself any points for finishing, I just wanted to have some enjoyment at this final race of the series.

Congrats to Toni and Johnny for another stunning pace and no refuel  no clue how you do it
Zero down force ?? 10 kg in tyres ?? or do you have a hover thing under the car ;)
Sorry to see Ken with engine problem in first chicane:eek::eek::eek:. Thank you for all you´r admins effort.

RF2 and me don´t connect at all , its not my game that for sure. so no more off it for me.
DQ in qual was something new ? I had mapped a button for light , fooled around with it in the first corner
couldn´t see if they where on or off. Not much off a headlight , also ? at practice server I thought it was automatic .but not 100 % sure
Then race was about 3 laps then my wheel got this"no gearing up or down and all loose in FB again" , this time there was no update to have :( so I´v put on my Mclaren wheel to try some day ,but not in a while.

Take care and have fun :)

Tricky to get going for this one as its long track so fixing setup and practice in short time is harder. Well i lied abit, not wings off it was 4 at rear.
But mostly pace was abit off due to still finding lines and so on.
Maybe after 40 minutes of race it was settling in there and with relaxed driving got easily into 3.45's. i was chasing 3.44 lap and couple times was going there easily but then allways a bad exit, traffic etc so i think we all left some time on track.
Fuel getting short so shortshifted and coasted 4 seconds worth in the end but lost win because of that. Totally had me there but mainly happy that got the car going finally in series. It felt great.
Obviously boost 1 whole race as allways.
Was enjoyment whole series. Could drive and relax without worrying about stupid moves by others and left races with smile on my face.
Gz champs and cu on next one o/

Great P2 cars, but our grid was to small, no idea why.

Sorry for Björn and Ken due their technical problems.
@ Ken: You started in the race and therefore you would deserve points,
i dont want P3 in the total result tables as a gift o_O

Anyway, thanks for joining and please check out our tuesday follower series with the Alpine,

Good racing all. I had fun racing with everyone here.

The night before, the pedals weren't connecting with rf2 so that took a couple of hours so I was pissed already. Almost quite. I had to reconnect my wheel and pedals to rf2 so that moved all the steering buttons around. Yah setting or whatever you call it moved so I had motion sickness the night before until I realized it was set to like 40%. Went to sleep with a headache. Next morning, at qualification, I was booted out, came back in. CrewChief wasn't working and had no boost set up on my wheel as the setting were all screwed up (again). I couldn't do anything so I qualified on boost 1 and somehow got very lucky with pole. At this time, I was pissed and ready to quit with a major headache from last night LOL. After qualification, I mapped the boost, even though I wasn't going to use it, I thought.

Race started and Ken came out of nowhere and was about to pass us all. I wanted to see how far he would go until I had to hit the brakes. He went wide but you could tell he was having car issues as it was this slow kind of slowing down. It's a bummer Ken. I feel you for sure.

Raced with Toni after this. He was faster down the straights but I was a little quicker in the turns. I also ran with wing 4. I short shifted throughout the complete race. Short shifted 1st through 4th and went wide on 5th and 6th as I feel those gears need more power to push them. It's hard racing and saving fuel. I stayed between 1.20 and 1.22 gallons per lap. I couldn't go higher or I wouldn't finish. Toni was leaving me behind but decided to stick to the plan of saving fuel, even if it meant getting 2nd which is great. Caught back up to Toni. I felt he was saving fuel so I stayed behind for a bit. On the last lap, gave it boost 4 only down the straights as I needed to finish. Went for a move and waited for him to close the door. If he would have closed the door, which isn't a problem, I would have hit the brakes and followed him home. But instead, I inched closer and closer when braking and he wasn't closing the door so I just took the turn normally. Right after this, I set boost back to 1 and was seeing if I had enough fuel to finish. I've never looked at a gas gauge in my entire life so much for a entire race. After this I came home with a few drops of fuel in my tank. I was pretty much on empty but so much fun.

All in all, it was great fun racing everyone here.

Congrats to Phil on the win and championship! Grats to all racers racing as it's much fun and last but not least, thank you Ken for another great series.

    Cheers brothers.

No that was a surprise to me too. I scheduled LM as the final race and made it 15m longer in the hope it would attract the biggest entry of the series, so its strange it didn't happen.
I appreciate your friendly attitude Gerhard, but anybody who doesn't complete at least one racing lap in any of our events, does not get classified in the results and I'm not immune to that the same as anybody else.

LOL. Yeah, us mericans tend to be different kind of lads. DO'H.
Calculations were in gallons. Meant between 4.54 to 4.61L.

    You were getting great mileage.
