Server won’t accept the password as specified on the event page?

 

I’ll log back in and give it another try soon…….but I can’t have entered it wrongly on 6 consecutive attempts?

 

Got on to the server with the required password, mid session, lost connection, tried to re-connect…….password not recognised!

 

I seem to be having no end of trouble and frustration at the moment. Setups that work great offline that then become 2 second/lap slower on the server and handle completely differently. Now I’ve managed to get onto the server, I’m experiencing random freezes on every lap (never happened before as I have a good connection) and then ending up in the barrier. It’s frustrating me to the point that I don’t thin’kI’ll be continuing this series as I simply don’t have the time to keep having to make so many changes just to establish a consistent lap.

 

No freezes in Brno. As the offline and online tracks are meant to be the same, I can see no reason why an offline setup should be hugely different from an online one……I’ve successfully done this numerous times before with this sim & others, but it makes it very difficult to develop a setup online when you either can’t log in, and/or you’re getting freezes when your on track.

 

rF2 is frustrating as heck. Every time I load it up, it's something new. Don't give in Chris. A lot of us are with you in your frustration of this thing we call rF2. But at the end, it's worth the race. My biggest bad thing about this game? Crashing right before Q. OMG!

Yep!…….booted me out of the session as it switched over to quali

After that it seemed quite stable for me. Enjoyed the first 10 laps or so pushing Johnny a bit, made a little mistake on the exit of the next to last turn and which allowed Johnny to pull away a little, then back markers cropped up at the wrong points for me, but all in all I enjoyed it eventually.

Congrats to the podium.
I was in P3 and expecting a fight with @John vd Geest when my system gave me the black screen of death!! How frustrating. I guess that's equivalent to having some engine failure in real life racing .
I hadn't managed any practice at all during the week and was starting to close the brutal gap with Chris and Johnny... Not that I was expecting to get down to the 22s but 24s were feeling better than my earlier 28s...
Anyways, hope next race is free from computer issues.
