Welcome to the DTM 1991 Series

This mod created by well-known Tommy78 represents the DTM 1991 cars and is truly something special.
The mod consists of 5 cars from the DTM 1991 season and each car has its own physics, gear ratios, fuel consumption, engine sound ect.
The car handling is unique for each car and is just fantastic.

    The cars are:

    1. V8 Evo Quattro DTM (Audi)
    2. Mustang GT DTM (Mustang)
    3. M3 Evo DTM (BMW)
    4. Evo500 DTM (Opel Omega)
    5. 190E Evo2 DTM (Mercedes)

    League discount

The mod is a DLC for € 15,00 but Tommy78 agreed to give me a league discount.
You can buy the mod for € 12,50.
You need to apply the following code when the rF2 DTM Season Pass is in the cart: srodtm

    Formation lap procedure

    How does each race start?
    1. The race starts by a formation lap (that's why the race time is 62 minutes).
    2. From the second to last corner we go double file

    3. the pole-sitter holds a speed of ca. 100 km/h from that moment on.
    4. Once the pole-sitter starts the race by crossing the start line, we all go and are free to race.
(you can not overtake cars before crossing the start line yourself)

    ****************************************************************

    No-shows

If a driver does not show up twice for a race without unregistering for that event or letting me know that he can't make it in the event forum, he will be taken out of the complete series.

(You don't have to unregister for the whole series. You can unregister only for the race you can't do.)

    ****************************************************************

No Esc. on track rule in Qualification

In qualification, you can not press Escape (Esc.) while on track (if you crash) and then go back out again.
(Except for the Nordschleife, because it takes too long to drive to the pits and start again. There you can press Esc.)
If you want to do another run, you have to come into the pits first.

This is to protect the other drivers from someone taking abnormal risks to set a good lap time and crashing (other cars).

Poll about driving the same car

As you know, this mod costs € 12,50 and has 5 different cars. Now the question is ... do we let everybody enjoy whatever car they want for each round so they can test them all, or do we empose that a driver has to keep the same car for the whole series? Please give a like or disagree for the following statement:

Drivers can use any of the 5 cars they want for each round.

  3. Hi folks, unfortunately, due to some recent sight issues I’ve developed I’m going to have to withdraw from the series for the time being. If things improve in time I’ll re-register for any remaining races.
