    DISCLAIMER: DRIVING PROTO-TYPES

    * If you choose to drive a proto-type in this series, you must realize and accept that in every race you will be held up several times per lap.
    * If you choose to drive a proto-type in this series, you have to respect every other driver on track in any class at any moment (even if you're fighting).
    * If you choose to drive a proto-type in this series, you must realize that the GTE class is your equal on track and does not need to get out of your way.
    * If you choose to drive a proto-type in this series, you must realize that the GTE class is the most difficult of all three classes because they are the slowest.

    If a proto-driver does not understand these rules of behaviour, he will be asked to move to the GTE class.

    Partially Wet Event

    This event will be 50% wet.
    That means we will have 3 events wet and 3 events dry in this series.

    Esc key in qualifying

    I forgot to mention it specifically in the server chat before qualifying, but you all checked the box that you have read the rules and regulations before signing up for this series, so you are expected to be aware of this rule. In short, you can not use the Esc key in qualifying and then go back out again.
    Please read this rule (again) to familiarise yourself with it.

    Just to notify that I change to the GTE for all the championship.
    Harder to drive, much slower (than the LMP2)...but definitely more challenging :);)

    I'm glad to hear it. We needed more drivers there.
    Fully agree, it is the most difficult and challenging of all 3 classes. We don't have the grip the proto's have. Getting to the finish is an accomplishment in itself with 2 proto classes around us. Very exciting. You have to drive really smart to survive. And you made it. Well done. Did the race setup approve with you?

    Is it possible to set the training server that the track is not wet all the time? The race is only partially wet.

    If other members also want a completely dry practice on the server, please let me know by liking this post.
    If 10 or more likes are given, I will change it.

    Btw, if you restart the session it will be dry.

    Not sure if this is possible John but can the server match the race sever so it's dry and wet for portions of the practice server? I think quite a few of us still need practice in the wet and dry. Having a complete practice session in the dry wouldn't make sense if it's going to rain in the race.

    Maybe it's dry and wet now. If so, I'll shut up now and move on.:)

    The practice session matches the race session for the dry and wet periods.
    Of course, when it stops raining, it won't be dry immediately. :) It has to dry out.

    Now I see what you're saying here Thomas. Even when it's dry, the track is wet. :). Makes for an interesting practice, that's for sure lol

    This is a tough one!
    Did a couple of hours tonight but with ever changing track conditions it's tricky to know where you are pace wise. The server times don't mean much.

    Anyway, not too bad pace wise (I think!) LOL.

    I know this is a 50% wet race but it would be great if we had some kind of weather forecast app like they have in real world series like a weather radar to show us the rain coming in and help us plan that pit stop for wet tyres. The problem with sim racing is you don't have a team telling you this kind of info unless anyone knows of an app that does this (I doubt it). :)
