does the live timing work . I cannot get it to load was wondering if I have to install anything . Just looking for some lap time targets
Hi Need a little assistance with my name in server. I am showing as my own name in the server but it is uploading my times as my steam name . Ive changed to my real name in steam but it still uploads my lap times as my old steam name . Any help as im a bit rusty could it be the rsr addon?
In Steam under your name profile, you must set Profile name and Username to be the same as your SRO member name. That's the only reason I can think of why it's not showing correctly.
I am having problems with my name in assetto. It is still uploading my times under my old steam profile name Ive tried everything I can think of and it is still broken. changed in game profile and even changed steam profile name and it still uploads times under old profile name Going mad here trying to fix so any suggestions appreciated
I wasn't sure if you had been hit from behind too. I had to slow up when another car decided to squeeze into the closing gap at the first chicane. Maybe I need to stop being nice on race starts in future.
Hi I started ok and had a good few laps before minor mistake spun me out. Had an ok pace. Got through the first chicane carnage Damaged the front and was running a little deep into corners. Spun out in last corner and stupidly contacted someone when trying to turn car around . Sorry whoever it was I am stupid Anyway set my best lap in quali and overall enjoyed the race but afraid i finished in the pits Congrats to the podium
Awhile ago, one of my teammate had that too. It was a caching issue, and it did not cause harm, as in your cause. So if your name is displayed correctly in the game, then you are good. To my race, well as said, I am a bit shocked about that. The pace was definitely good, but of course I was very lucky. As in the last race, my strategy was to fill the car up, take the hardest compound and finish the race without any stop. After practice, it seemed like, that fuel consumption is no issue for me, so my only worry was to avoid a spin on cold tires. That was a big concern, because it happened to me in St. Pete and in practice I never got to grips with them. Nevertheless, I opted for them because the wear of the medium seemed too high to me. I was surprised that Kiril and Mariusz still opted for the medium. What I was less surprised about was that drivers tried it with the soft because then you have a rocket in the first laps. @Paul Upham gave me some headache with this strategy, because it was hard to repass after I nearly lost my car. But then I got lucky, first @Mitchell Kakotsky lost his car and caused @Phil Brown to slow down, which created the opportunity to pass him. Then Paul made a slight error into turn one and spun out. P4 was already great, but it got better, because the unfortunate @Mariusz Lebioda had a tone of bad luck and @Michał Mazurek was not as fast as I expected. To be honest, I had no idea how I could suddenly catch up with him and then even overtake him. I felt like I was dreaming. That's why I didn't pay much attention to the fuel consumption, fortunately Kiril decided to slow down a bit and avoid another lap, because I was 0.3 liters short for one more lap... Unreal, congrats @Kiril Kirilov, and thanks for the good race guys. Probably the next race will be a bit more normal again.
Congratulations to the fastest drivers, Kiril and Mariusz, and to Philipp, who drove a flawless race. The rest, headed by me, was just the background. Lap times 1s worse. Of course, I can only speak for myself, so my setup ideas and theories tested during the race are not the best solution, and the strategy itself - questionable quality. Old age is not joy Traditionally, thanks for racing See you in the final round.
First of all, the track was much better than the last one. It looked like Phil and Michal had problems here and only Mariusz could match my pace at the beginning. But after about the tenth lap something happened to him and he was gone. So I was able to save my mediums and even save fuel. I even ended up with fuel for one more lap, but it was a matter of only 5 seconds and I didn't want to ruin some people's races. In the end, my decision was good for Philipp, who drove a very good race. You are welcome See you guys again on Sebring
Wow, impressive.. I saw you coming again and thought, man I hate to be lapped..one time is bad enough.. but twice is humiliating. So thanks for letting me keep a smidge of dignity
