Qualifying: The season was dominated by Kiril and Phil, but here I was the closest to going on pole at least once. Was close. Race: Start as nervous as usual for me, additionally hard tires. I managed not to break anyone and set off in pursuit of the leading two. A few laps to warm up the tires, I got a rhythm, it was pretty good. A race without a fight, but considering the final, I am very happy. Congratulations to Kiril for the championship and Phil for the runner-up PS. Who by the blue flag blocked the leader of the race 2 laps before the end? It was unnecessary and dangerous. Best regards and see you maybe in the next series
Had a good start. Managed to get past the accident in the first corner and ran a good few consistent laps. Spun out and paid a high price .....got some stability and was ok for a bit until i had another spin. After that it was a blue flag fest and on such a short track i had to watch out in my mirrors for people and this just led to lap times dropping and more mistakes. Retired in pits with8 mins to go. Congrats to the podium I just cannot get the lap times Cyas soon
Not my best race, but also not bad, just a bit more normal after recent unexpected success. The mayhem at turn one started right behind me, so I was lucky to avoid any harm from that. Although, a few corners later I panicked under braking, locked up the tires and ended up in the grass and only lost two positions. I was able to recover and saved enough fuel to make it without any stop (as my teammate). In the final stage, I tried to fend off @Mariusz Lebioda, but he was faster, and I completely forgot that my line through the 90-degree corner was an invitation for anyone. For the future, I have to improve my defensive driving. Anyway, congrats guys, that was a very good series. Impressive driving by the top four (@Kiril Kirilov @Phil Brown @Michał Mazurek @Mariusz Lebioda ) Hats off. I am not sure which team won the team championship, but regardless of that good fight, True North Racing.
Well that's the last time I'm buying a car from you Ken . . . . You promised a nice Ukraine blue and yellow Williams, but delivered a Russian red and white McLaren! Oh well. Thanks for the race though, thoroughly enjoyed it. The race went exactly as I expected - I got pole position: set the fastest lap and won the race by over a minute. Oh! Hang on, that's not what I expected, that's what I hoped for. What I expected was to finish upside-down, in a ditch and needing to be air-lifted by a HeliCorsa to the nearest Hospital. Congratulations to Kiril for winning the Championship, to Phil for being Championship runner-up and to Michal for the race win.
Thanks for the good racing guys! That was my first single-seater series and it went well for me (and my team ). Hope I will see you all in the next AC-series!
