Assetto Corsa Comp Round 4 Oulton park

I though i saw a car going straight on rather than going around the hairpin on lap one.....I guess that was Tanner...
Thanks to everyones issues i seems ot end up in 4th i think but in close company behind with Felix's Lambo and David in the Merc both seemingly keeping pace. Trying to push and get some breathing space but wasnt a good time ot suddnely get a massive complex about going through Druids the double right, seemingly forgetting where i should brake! I just find many corners here end up being instinctive as there are no obvious brake markers to rely on...

So after messing it up and losing both places i was following closely but felt i was being held up a bit and after a few laps decided to pit.. but at the same time as David...

Now maybe i was just pushing the entry too much, i know i pushed the button but i was still in 3rd gear, hoping for some engine braking, and thought as long as i get down slow enough it will kick in properly. It clearly didnt as i nearly drove into Davids Merc and picked up a SG30 for it.

So after taking it was on a mission to try and recover something... Roger was seemingly matching my times ahead at moments so to find him going a couple a secs off the pace felt like he was blocking me massively... I guess that was just damage? your pace didnt seem that bad after.....

I guess 7th was too bad but considering i Felix finished 3rd... is a bit frustrating...

 

Just to say sorry for the punting the Merc lap 1. Waited until you got going and then did the drive through. With my pace that meant that it was race over for me.

 

I just looked at the replay, i didnt feel a thing but i see your limiter doesnt engage and you speed only a little in the pit lane. Thankfully no one saw me completely over shoot my pit box though .

Sorry I quit part way, sometimes this game just frustrates me.

I pitted and I know darn well I was in 1st and slow enough before the line, hit the limiter button for sure but it didn't engage, so instant SG30 when I left the pit. SO I came around to serve that figuring I could still get an ok result, pitted ok, into the box ok, stopped the engine as instructed and then he's immediately go go go, no 30 second hold. Left the pit and it gave me another one...

Another race to forget.. Pffff
Actually my real life is getting me busy so i dont have time to even practice myself.. Anyways..
Quali was so so , i started 9th, but at first corner at the exit i had a slide and once again i found myself last..
I recovered some places after some guys in front did some mistakes and i was chasing Roberto having Peter Williamson just right behind my tail.
After Roberto's mistake at the left handed turn 3, i was 8th and i managed to gat a gap from Peter until my pit.
I got a bit late at my pit so Roberto overtook me again and after that i had a lonely race.. But..
About 15 minutes before the end i was 7th, having a a gap of 12+ seconds of Roger Hinds and Mark Ekins, i had that 7th place in my pocket but once again
a slide at the exit of turn 1, damaged my car badly and that was the end.. I tried to continue my race but the car was undriveble my arms got too tired and i
retired..
Max i am sorry for the little touch we had at righthanded turn 5, i was trying to give you space

Hope to see you all at Misano i never tried that track so it will be a big challenge for me..

P.S. Rob just a question.. Can we change car for the rest of series? I mean i am not challenging anything at this series i think i am already last, i just want to try some things with another car
