i can understand this, although for me it makes no sense to deny someone to race just because there are to many gt3s
that said wish you of course a good race, maybe see you in future

massive lag.

yeah me too. Everything was fine until the start and then the cars around me were jumping all over the place.

Made a mistake on lap one as Taner popped into my cockpit and then I caught @Gilles da'Silva twice as he appeared in front of me (so sorry).

had to stop because it was impossible for me I’m afraid. Have known a bit of this at starts but usually it sorts itself after a few laps. It was getting worse on this occasion

annoying as I’d been slowly working on the setup and the car was quite good.

 

dont know how many times i got hit. still fighting in there with a tilted wheel. then one hero of idiotism bumps me right into rear and car wrecked more. wtf dude..learn to brake. its 5 minutes gone of the race, jeesus. Plus i had to dodge you earlier cause of bomb. Didnt you learn from it anything or just figured "woooo i made awsome pass!".
Finally P1 sweeped allmost my mirror and caused me to spin again so figured ***k this shit.

 

I think a lot of us were suffering with major lag Toni. I had to stop it was dangerous for those around me.

 

I got nailed in the rear on the first lap and that put an end to my race. The back just came unstuck at every turn after that. After causing one accident I decided it was best for everyone I quit.

 

In race...4th...connection lost..... shi***
Meanwhile...a lot of car-ghosts...

 

Too much lag, got crashed into in the first lap probably because of lag, finally caught up, and then got crashed into again in Lap 28 -_-.

Hopefully its going to be better in the next race

 

Yeah, massive mess at the beginning with cars coming and going and going and coming back in places they hadn't gone from.

I took damage on lap 1 also (53s to repair). Decided to try to salvage what i could by reducing my pitstop time. Massive fuel and tire saving thru the next hour or so then only needed 12L with 10 minutes left. And running alone all race kept me from getting too frustrated with warping cars.

 

Grats to the DPI winner and all who raced.

I had some warping issues with about two DPI's warping but no GTs warped on me. Noticed this so every time a DPI would pass, I'd go wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide. "Hey brother, you can have the line, I'm good."

Race went good for me though. Had to get a gap on most cars as my cars setup was a bit loose but turned well. I had to get the heck out of dodge as I know the car would start slowing itself down as the weather became colder. Suffered from snapping steering but yet, this didn't happen in practice. So I slowed her down. Thought, Johnny, you got a gap, slow the darn thing down. But I had fun because everyone was here.

The start was just ridiculous, tried to give you as much space as I could in the hairpin T1 & T2, cars warping everywhere. Suddenly all went blank... and then Barrett appears on my left side and i'm like shiiiiiit.... but all clean from my perspective so thank god. Saw you in my mirror get nailed by @Sameer Arshad going into Sector 3, although I thought Sameer was signed up in DPI for this series?

Game settled down for me after that, nothing too wacky on the Lag front. Frustrated @Riccardo Riva for a few laps until he passed me in the BMW - However I thought he too was registered in DPI for this series?? Then had a good battle with @Lewis Middleton for another few laps before I got punted off into the final corner at the end of Lap 16.

Start of Lap 17, slowing down for T4, came down the gears as I usually did and the engine died (not sure if this was because of a lag spike as I was downshifting), so that was that. Race over.

 

sry for touching you in the back.. it was me. for me you was on the outside of this corner, but because oif the lag suddelny i saw you right in front of me.. i tried to brake but it was to late. sorry. it was very hard for us prototype drivers to drive with this laggs... we often didn't know where you were

 

Don't worry about it, that's part of racing, look forward to the next race hopefully with less lagging and more battles

 

Qually was great, no lag and put in a PB of 202.9xx.

When the formation lap started, drivers were lagging/moving back and forth like someone was pressing a rewind/speed up switch
which made me really nervous. As stated in previous posts, the start and the first few laps was even worse. I was really hoping to not inadvertently clobber anyone.

Decided to start with soft tyres/50 liters of fuel as I felt my pace was quite good but the lag prevented me from pushing hard from the get go so instead of lapping in the
mid 203's as I could have done, I found myself in the 204's to 206's & beyond which was obviously very frustrating. Lost a couple of places early on to Lewis (at the start) and
one to Didier a couple of laps later after I was guilty of heavy right footing it out of T12. Nipped by Didier as he seemed to go wide on the exit of T7 thereafter
I tried to chase down John, was closing albeit only by a few tenths each lap. Unfortunately I had a collision with John on the exit of T4, assuming it was lag, lost control and then parked it rather frustrated, my apologies to John and I hope you did not get damage from it. Looking forward to Mexico and hope these lag issues go away.

Thank you to the broadcast team, I think you guys did another great job, after I left the race,
I poured myself a Whiskey and watched the broadcast to the end ...fully relaxed.
