    Is it correct there is no pit speed penalty? Thought I saw that on the mulitplayer server screen. Therefore no actual pitspeed limit. Also not relevant when there is no collision detection in pitlane in my opinion. Just to be sure.

    These are the server settings as of today ..
    ( I just changed the race date to the actual date of the event & also fixed the Q session start time so it's not in the evening) :)
    All penalties are set to full & you can see "pit speed limited" is also on YES.
    Sometimes in AMS2, like PC2, the clients joining will show the settings from the last server they were on, the fix for clients is to create their own mp session with the proper settings join it, exit & then rejoin the server.. even if you don't do these the actual server settings will be used even when it shows otherwize...

    Yes I see this but when entering the server I noticed pit exit penalty = NO in one of the screens. Does this mean if you exceed the speed limit you do not get a pit speeding penalty othwerwise it is no use to remain under it during the race because you do not get penalized by the game. I am quite a noob in Automobilista 2 so it migh mean something else.

    Maybe I am mistaken with the white line penalty. I will also check again.

    This screen is what I am talking about. Looking at pit exit penalty I see NO. Also damage scale I see OFF (I think it should say 50%).

    Also I did a few laps and I see the track temperature is 44C. Is the track temperature something the game decides or how does that work in AMS2? When I do some offline testing it is only 14 degrees or so. Makes a great difference in tyre temperatures and i am now cooking my rears LOL.

    I think the tyres changed with the last update. All four of mine are cooking after one lap, even the hards. Bit rubbish to be honest.

    The " Pit EXIT Penalty" is the white line penalty after you exit & that we want off.

    The game controls the temps but you as a user can control the weather & dates. this series is set for actual dates, set your offline session up for 4/24 & the temps should match & any other additions like the addition of light to med clouds will be over written when the slot is set to 0.

    In further testing it seems you can speed in pit lane even though it says 'speed limit is 60' it simply turns red but does not throw a peniltyo_O ..I'm going to turn the white line penalty on & see if that makes a difference...

    Looks like this is a bug .. I have started a thread at AMS2 forums regarding pit speed ..In this series there are no mandatory pit stops so at least its the same for all .. I was not able to test the race session so maybe in the race session the pit speed penalty will work ..

    Ok, I think I figured the pit penalty's out! :rolleyes:
    In further testing, it seems that speeding in pit lane is only allowed in the practice sessions and will be enforced in the Q and race sessions! :eek::D

    At least that's what happened on a test server I put up today..;)

    Race day PW set on the Champ page.
    Welcome to the big apple New York!
    Remember we are using the ' Real Weather' option for this series so the weather is set to today's date!

    Joining the server on race day:​
    If you have raced AMS2 with us before you will remember we have limited admin control.​
    To make sure the admin actually becomes the host he must be the first to join on race day.
    To do this we will restart the server 1 hour before the assigned Q time of 19:00 GMT.
    This means official practice starts at 18:00 GMT
    and we ask that all players please wait until you see the admin on the server
    (it will be within the first 2 min of restart)
    This will be the start of the official Race Day Practice session, after admin has joined all are free to join.
    Simple thing to remember is:
    Don't be the first to join after 18:00 GMT on race day
    or,
    don't join the server if it's empty after 18:00);)    ​
