    Welcome to the ACC TCX BMW M2 Challenge!
    This mod replicates one of the most popular single class touring car series in the world.
    It's purposely designed, by kunos, with league racing in mind.
    Its heavy, stable & has tons of torque. It's perfect for door-to-door racing as it can take a beating and hold its line!
    (Check the first 23 min of this video for a better description from the dev. starts at 2:15 to 23:50 )


    This series will consist of 6- 30 min sprint races!
    No mandatory stops.
    The races will be every other Wednesday
    Open practice from 17:00 GMT
    Q starting at 19:00 GMT
    Races start @ 19:15

    These will feel slow compared to the GT3's yes, BUT the racing is fantastic & the cars are equally matched across the board, stable, and have tons of torque. This mod is designed for door-to-door MP league action :D

    I unregistered from this series at the last minute as I thought the races were 45 sprints, but noticed on the series page that it’s listed as 45 “laps”, a distance for which I hadn’t done any practice or calls for pit stops etc. Having just looked at the results for race 1, it seems like the races are 45 minutes. Is this correct?

    Yes 45 min races, we call them 'sprints" because there are no mandatory pit stops. It's a sprint race to the checkered with a full formation rolling start! good fun and these cars are all evenly matched witch makes it more of a driver vs. driver series mano e' mano ;):D. They remind me allot of the old rf2 BMW series we used to run. Kunos nailed it with this mod IMO.Its everything I hoped AC would be back in the day, meaning rf2 with better updated gpx& such :)

    Round 1 was simply an 'intro run' with no points awarded except for fastest lap in Q and fastest lap in the race so 2 points were available. Round 2 introduces the scoring points so if you had a bad run or missed round 1 you're not at all out of shape for the championship!

    Shame I missed Donnington though, great track, and my pace from my practice server sessions look to have been bang on race pace. I thought I’d read somewhere originally that it was 45 minutes and that will have been on the forum section, but one I’d registered, I never went back to that page. Then when I looked on the events page for the race server password, I noticed the 45 laps!

    I’ve very little experience at all with ACC in terms of hours, car setup, pit stop strategies etc. as it’s a new sim to me, so sprints were the ideal way to get into it.

    I’ll re-register now.
