    Hi Joe,
    1. There is no limit for fuel and pit stops. Calculate how much fuel you need per lap and how much laps you will be running in 92 minutes and that's the amount of fuel you need.
You pre-set the stints and fuel you need in the setup menu before the race.
    2. When you select a button to map your HUD (while in the car) you can select to change or not change tires.
    3. You are allowed to do as many stints as you like.

    Drivers briefing

    1. This event will be broadcasted
    Broadcast team: EithaRacingTeam
    Broadcasters: Nassim, Lorenzo & Sameer
Twitch broadcast link: www .twitch .tv/eitharacingteam (delete the spaces)

    2. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
    1. You run out of fuel in the pit lane before reaching your pit stall.
    2. You sustain damage to your car as a result of another driver and cannot make it back to your pit stall. You must prove your qualifying session was wrecked by another driver and that you made an attempt to return to pit lane.

If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

    3. Race Conditions
    1) The race will start at 14:00 PM (in-game time of course).
    2) Time acceleration is normal
    3) The race will be dry from start to finish.
    4) The duration of this race will be 1 hour and 32 minutes (including formation lap).

    4. The race starts with a formation lap. Right after leaving the last corner, we double file in qual order.
    a. When the DPI pole-sitter crosses the start-line, the race begins for DPI;
    b. When the GT3 pole-sitter crosses the start-line, the race begins for GT3.
    c. The GT3 pole-sitter will hold a 5 second gap to the DPI class on the formation lap.

    5. Each class pole-sitter will do the formation lap approx. 120 km per hour.

    6. The server password will be changed on race day. You can find the password for the race server on the Red Bull Ring event page.

    7. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

    8. You can find the server by first typing sro.

    9. Please use the same name in the rFactor 2 game as on our signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.

    10. Last but not least ... SIMRACINGONLINE wishes you a great race!

Depending on what wheel you have the pit menu will be mapped example : I have a G923 and the hat switch controls the pit menu, once I select the pit menu using the Display mode button you can go up or down to select the pit menu item you want using pit menu up, pit menu down then you use the pit menu Increment /decrement to tell it what you want to do .. move it up or down to select fuel or tires or wing ect. then use the increment /decrement buttons to add or subtract from what you have selected. to change or not change the tires the selection goes from soft/med/hard/none using the increment/decrement button so if you don't want tires cycle through until its set it to none ..
so remember: up / down selects things in the menu, increment/decrement ads or subtracts from your selection. but first you cycle through the display mode (or you can map the pit menu button ) to get to the pit menu, but having the ability to cycle the MFD offers other options as well so i like the display mode option, check it out and you will see what i mean ;)
rF2 can be confusing. Hope this helps!

    Not gonna lie…that hurt.

Game froze, I could hear my engine but nothing else. Then crashed to desktop.
That’s two races now when this has happened. The only change to my system is the laptop automatically updated itself to Windows 11.
    Thinking about deleting it. Lol.

otherwise a good solid race. Could just about make it on one stop as I was saving fuel from the start. Losing some time but not too bad.

great show of drivers tonight. Well done.

Really fun race guys! gota' love red Bull Ring! :D . I had a good strategy & was shooting for a top 5 for team points but let it all get away after a gas only pit stop. I tapped the pit exit wall right at the very end & gave me some serious steering damage, I mean I barely tapped it .. LOL I was in 5th at that point with about 25 min to go .. I had a good gap but it was only a matter of time as i was 1.5 slower with the damage .. .. had a great battle with Joe H. & then we had some contact in T1 that spun us both out ..Sry if it was my fault I was just trying to nail the apex with my psyco steering, looking at the replay it looks like it's simply a race incident. Nonetheless, that spoiled my shot at a top 5. my own mistakeo_O:D i then self-spun it the sector 2 big right bender & eventually gave all the spots away lol . But it was some great racing and a lot of fun! can't wait for the next one! rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2022.05.29 - 14.19.33.42.jpg

Andrew, I was really enjoying my 'battle' with you until I too 'lost connection'. Connection with my steering wheel that is! The stupid thing came completely off it's stand, forcing an unscheduled pit-stop for real repairs. Sorry to hear that you were 'saving fuel from the start' though, 'coz I was trying my little heart out just to stay with you :)

Had a really good time at this event. Battles left and right.
I have to admit that I was a bit shocked when Miguel Santos simply drove passed me at the start after turn 1. Looked like he had rear wing setting 1 and rocket fuel ...
Miguel was also pretty fast and is a worthy winner.
Good and long fight with Sameer Arshad who was really, really fast. I had to go all in to keep up with him.
10 minutes before the end, I lost concentration for just a moment and put a rear wheel on the grass while accelerating and I spun and the engine died.

On to Sebring!! Hoping for another good battle with everybody like Red Bull Ring.

    Protests

I saw on the broadcast more than a few incidents of "cutting corners" where it was doubtful that the driver in question lifted the throttle to give back the time won.
I think everyone in the field made "mistakes", therefore ...

When a driver protests another driver for "cutting", he will also be investigated himself.
He who is without sin, cast the first stone ...

    Filing a protest

Hiya, I wondered what had happened. You were driving a good race too. A year or so ago my pedal rest decided to collapse under braking at Daytona (coming into the bus stop of all places! lol).

Had to drive back round braking with my right foot and holding and the pedals up with my left, that was an interesting race for sure :)

I was having a pretty decent race last night, so pretty disappointed about the disconnect/crash. I may leave things as they are and hope Sebring is ok, if the problem happens again I will start looking into it.

I started in Qualify mode for the first few laps, then into Race for a few, then into Race Lean from there. Did try Extra Lean but it slows the car down too much, but I stopped at about half distance so I could probably make it with some careful driving, haha.

I was asked if the DPI can use the low aero package.
Yes, you can because I didn't address the issue at the start of the series, so the option is open.

Great job from the broadcast team. Thanks for the stream guys. Was very nice to watch.

Did everybody notice that they have added the replay function, so every memorable moment can be found and shown again in real time. Very cool.
