    hello,
can you guys fix the Honda civic sounds? it sounds really poor. there is a Honda Type R on the forums, which sounds just like a honda should.

Sounds are client side .. you can use custom sounds ..simply add what sounds you want to your game .. !

I haven't tried the Honda yet but if i's that bad someone will have probably added some new sounds and can walk you threw it ..
It's not that hard ,i believe you just swap out the sound file ..

If i do it I will be glad to help you on TS !

I also own the jdm type R. And it truly sounds like a vtec honda. If someone can show me how to swap sound files I will.
Also the civic rear is to snappy. I tried making arb changes but no effect

Hmmm you might be right .. however people race online with custom/different sound packs/files all the time ..sounds are client based and I think how it works is as long as the files keep the original name (change current sound file to .old and rename your custom sound to exact same name as file your replacing) I think that's how they do it .but IDK for sure as i've never changed any .. I will ask one of the guys running there sounds how it works ..
Server has no sound files in the server cfg to edit/change its all client based ..

I have to say that i do the same laptimes with all 3 versions of FWD cars. So as stated above, its down to adjusting to the handling of the car.
