I will miss this race due to being away, so have an enjoyable race. Fellow Admin John vd Geest will officiate for this event.
My move into my new home is 80% complete so I have found more time for racing. I missed the previous races and was looking forward to the drive. I was wandering around among the boxes when I glanced at my screen and notice everyone in the pit and about to start Qly. The home page showed the start as 16:00 hours, at 4 pm my time not 2pm. Happily I did make qualifying. I thought I had a few hours to read up on the rules of engagement. So there I was on the grid and no idea what type of start I was looking at. When the lights went out I notice everyone ahead of me hustling away and decided it was a standing start. I am not sure why but the car just stood there as everyone passed me by. I had a great race with Ed and Richard up to half way and Richard during the second stint. Richard spun in front of me at the hairpin just before half time. I thought we had missed each other but not so. The car was a few km/hr slower and a sitting duck for Richard who looked to pass me before the end of the race. He got close but no cigar. These are easy cars to drive and fun. Congrats to the podium bunch Didier, Barrett and Peter. Cheers
Hi John, This is what shows for the next race: Date Sun Sep 11, 2022 Race Time GMT 16:15 Qualify GMT 16:00 Local Race Time Sun Sep 11, 17:15 Time Zone Europe/London I'm in London which is GMT so it should show the same time, also in the screen snip you shared it shows 2 hours difference which should only be 1 hour difference. Hope this helps.
My local race time (GMT) is never shown correctly. It's always one hour off (one hour earlier than it should be) Can it be fixed so that it shows the correct time?
Hi Gilles, can you please mail me a screenshot of the section "Event details" where the time is displayed?
The "local" race time is the actual time in the country you have used in your membership details i. e. Peter is in the UK which is currently using BST (British Summer Time) which is +1hr on GMT which is displayed correctly. We show GMT as that is the reference we use for all races and should allow those in countries that do not use Summer clock changes to calculate their local time.
