    I tested all the cars. Fun. They all pretty much oversteer off throttle if going to hot into a corner. By far, the Porsche is so much fun, revs to the moon sounds great and turns very well. The bad, hmmm, for me, the tires started dissolving like butter. Still feel like picking it. Haha.

    Edit: I pretty much was just lapping the track with the Porsche because that's how fun the car is. :)

    Checking if soft (fronts of course) - wet-soft works but still not sure... My first try with the mod, trying Aston, but I guess softs will not work. (I must say this after only small changes in the default setup and low number of laps).

    I'd go softs for qualifying and meds or hards for the race. I haven't practiced in the wet as of yet. I could only imagine how slicks are when slight rain touches the track. Yikes. Softs during the race, the life span will die off very quickly.

    Softs work only for 2 laps when raining m8. Never try the 3rd lap! lol

    Drivers briefing

    1. This event will be broadcasted
    Broadcast team: EithaRacingTeam
    Broadcasters: Nassim, Lorenzo & Sameer

    2. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
    Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
    1. You run out of fuel in pit lane before reaching your pit stall.
    2. You sustain damage to your car as a result of another driver and cannot make it back to your pit stall. You must prove your qualifying session was wrecked by another driver and that you made an attempt to return to pit lane.

    If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

    3. Pittsburgh Conditions
    1) The race will start at 02:00 PM (in-game time of course)
    2) Time acceleration is normal. Fuel and Tires are set to normal.
    3) The race will partially wet. It will rain from 40 to 60% race distance. Qual will be dry.
    4) Cut Track points are set to 7
    5) This race has 100% damage
    6) Pole Points: 1 / Fast Lap Points: 1

    4. Formation lap and rolling start.
    Right after leaving the last corner, we double file in qual order. When the pole-sitter crosses the start line, the race begins.

    5. The pole-sitter will do the formation lap approx. 120 km per hour.

    6. The server password will be changed on race day. You can find the password for the race server on the Pittsburgh event page.

    7. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

    8. No-shows (keeping the entry list real)
    If a driver does not show without unregistering for that event or letting us know that he can't make it on the event forum, he will be removed from the series.
    If he is no longer interested in the series, it's fine like it is.
    If he forgot about the event, he can sign up for the series again.

    (You don't have to unregister for the whole series. You can unregister only for the event you can't do.)

    9. You can find the server by first typing sro

    10. Please use the same name in the rFactor 2 game as on our signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.

    A little of both, maybe :)

    Just some notes from mid-pack, for whatever it's worth:

    I've found i've had to change my driving style a bit since the updates. The cars are more sensitive to off-throttle over-steer, then they'll spin up on exit. So I can't seem to trail brake as deep and need to be pretty careful with the throttle in a couple of these corners, taking them slower than they look at entry and being very gentle coming back on the gas.

    Still trying to figure out what works best for the setup, but for now, i'm running the car softer than i would usually. Springs bars and shocks. Beyond that, play with the TC settings. The TC engine cut seems to affect the behavior in corners quite a bit.

    As much as I'd love to be there, I'm not going to make it to the race tonight.:(
    Hopefully I'll be able to tune in to Eitha Racing Team's broadcast on Twitch.tv and watch some of the race there.

    Nice move getting punted off track at T2, not once but twice! Really, lost position both times and damaged car. Not impressed really if you gonna dive like that!

    All was great until rain came. Car was horrible. Didnt turn in at all. Have to check how to do suspensions, usually i just put soft and then work on balance and that car behaves like i want to. Lost position and over 10seconds to Lorenzo on track.
    Dry, i loved it. What a great race and battle! There was some problems with backmarkers where lost little too much but i understand people are racing for positions aswell and guess it goes to everyone.

    He's not talking about that one with you John. That was incidental door-to-door contact. He's talking about later in the race towards the end in a 3 way battle for 8th with like 10-15 min left with another driver.. If he wants a review he can follow procedures & file a protest after the 24hr cooldown period .. You cant give yourself a penalty like that LOL :p . But good of you to step up! but this is not about that early race contact with you..

    This all because the servers are not set for short races. If the server is set for shorter races with time scale people will join and will have more experience
