I have set the first practise time: 2.04,724

 

I will have a go tomorrow.

 

So can we use DX11 with this ? the track & mod are both updated .. also I was chatting on discord with marrs from 397 and he said that all DX9 content will run perfectly on the DX11 builds ..

 

Isn't the question more about will DX11 content run on DX9 build?

 

We know the answere to that .. it is NO , it will run yes but the newDX11 shaders turn the DX9 cars into bright glowing squares of light .The DX11 has no negative effect on the DX 9 cars.. the latest enduro release along with its physics updates and minor tweaks is optimized for DX 11 and works fine and DX9 .. DX11 is reverse compatible ,DX9 is not ...

 

Oke with me. Nigel can try running DX11.

 

Will look at that tonight as I will have to shut the server down to download DX11 beta

Sorry I guess that sounds confusing.. Im talking servers Ken .. if its a DX9 server the DX11 content will be glowing
if its a DX11 server the DX9 cars will have no ill effect while the DX 11 cars /tracks look amazing ..

basically the New stuff wont work on the old stuff(DX9 server) BUT the old stuff WILL work with the new stuff ! (DX11 server)

so this should say -"but the newDX11 shaders turn the DX9 cars into bright glowing squares of light" ON A DX9 SERVER

 

Clarity at last. Its alright for you guys who live and breath this stuff, but for old timers like me it takes a lot more interpretation to understand it all.

'Off-course' is defined as leaving the marked course with all four wheels.
It means that you must keep 2 wheels within the track limits at all times. If you set a time and you have been outside the tracklimits with all 4 wheels, your time is not legal. That is why you must sumbit a rFactor 2 hotlap replay if you are in the top 3.

 

Yes, like I said, no more then 2 wheels outside the white line is accepted.

That's a pretty sharp time. Will be interesting to see who can go faster
