rFactor 2 Silverstone removed from rfactor 2 Fri Nov 25.

    To make you can use it again if you ever need to reinstall STEAM/rF2 make sure to do this:

    After installation copy this folder and keep it as a backup somewhere safe outside rF2. you can then copy the folder back into the same place in a new rF2 install.

    You will only need the rfcmp file inside that folder btw.

    The folder will not be there if you have to reinstall STEAM or RF2 Neil e.g. on a new PC

    I know... but if you are backing up the track, you have a working version of the game. You won't need the folder when installing on a new PC, just the package file to put in your packages folder to install.

    I don't know if it makes any difference in terms of being able to re-install it or not, but personally I'd put it back in the same folder structure as it was originally installed i.e. into the /Content Folder.

    Nope... makes no difference. Because if you are installing a standalone rfcmp, it has NOTHING to do with the steam folder structure at all.
