rFactor 2 Round 2 Thruxton

Hi there. I can't seem to find the server on the server list. I'm searching up 'SRO' but no results are coming back.

 

Ah, I restarted my game and now it's there. Never mind.

 

Someone using a custom skin is making me (and others?) have a dialog box pop up stealing focus from game.

 

Hm ?? I will try to solve this

@Kiril Kirilov I hope that contact wasn't my fault. Unfortunately I don't have replays so I can't go back and check.
From my point of view, the track comes over to the right at that point so I was moving over to avoid the grass, but I hope I didn't move over too sharply or anything.

 

Firstly, thanks for this great series, again a big grid, brilliant.

But why? Sat in 3rd with no issues nursing the tyres and boom, someone rejoins against the cars at the faster part of the track, words fail me, unacceptable!!


By the way the car came on from the left at 90 degrees to the track.
Just gutted!!

I came off a few times, but I always looked up at the track on my second screen to see when it was clear.

 

You and Guido were gone and I just wanted a good result after Silverstone. Everything slowed down, I thought it'll stop go for the gap.

 

A very big apology to @Simon Kingsbury. I could definitely do better than that. I was sent into the high speed right hand corner on the grass and wasn't able to stop the car before I was back on the tarmac.
And also apologies to @Michael Schmiedel. I didn't expect that you would go off the throttle at the exit on turn 1. I took DT, but of course that doesn't help you at all.
Yes @Caitlin Penny, you turn a bit sharp on me because you went off the throttle and your car turned into me. Racing accident like the last race with @Julian Smith, but both times I was in the barriers...

Sorry @Kiril Kirilov it is never my intention to have an incident with another driver, i saw you hit the dirt at Silverstone but did not think it was due to an error by me, I must admit I did not look at the replay from your angle, just thought you put tyre on the dirt .
Brilliant race, tough track , i couldn't dial in any worth while set up, so really happy with p4 after all the tussles , and lack of consistency, always tough with a full grid but brilliant to have so many drivers
Loving the sim but I really need to get a grip on the driving especially the tyres and set ups.
Congrats to the podium guys, and thanks to Rob for a great Broadcast and Ken for all their work.
Sorry on hols for the next one so will miss it.

Unlucky dude. Thanks for not outright blaming me. Again, I don't know if it was my fault or not. I'd have to see a clear replay.
