And again at 19:08 (here my car went backwards for two times) and in that moment I decided to let Neil pass, to avoid a crush with him

Yes. I turned replay recording off.
And here I have another STRANGE story.
Right after the race, on main screen, I clicked "Settings" and turned replay ON
    upload_2023-2-21_22-30-13.png
I left the server, check the replays ... and ... BAM - I HAVE THE REPLAY
So, the replay it is kept somewhere in cache and just not saved if Record replays is OFF. My non educated guess

Sorry Flaviu but with all my other SRO duties I don't have time to investigate individual problems like this. To me they are symptomatic of either/both network lags and/or the replay being saved intermittently. Did you switch recording of replays off?

    Yeah, just wasn't my day.

Pre-practice: Honestly I've not been in the right headspace all day. I've been tired and frustrated, and not concentrating much.

Practice: I think I might have been on mediums, but it didn't occur to me until afterwards. I don't know for sure though.

Qualifying: My PC crashed going into quali. It was a really strange type of crash that I haven't had before. My game just randomly disappeared and then took ages to load up again.

Race: I got up to 8th, but then the guy in P7 chopped my nose off when I tried to pass him and I had a spin. Now this is the bit that you won't believe. In countersteering rapidly to avoid spinning further, my wheel caused my desk to shake which caused my secondary monitor to jump right off the desk. On its way down, my second monitor somehow managed to unplug my first monitor so I couldn't see anything! I blindly stopped my car (On track, as it turns out, so I was lucky that no-one hit me) as I searched frantically for what had unplugged or broken, and then I got it all set up again and continued in the race. The car wasn't damaged, but unfortunately by this point I was frustrated and not concentrating, so I hit the wall all by myself and caused myself over two minutes of pit repairs.

Today has been a comedy of errors and I almost can't believe how badly that race went. I know the championship is gone unless Guido has a similarly bad round, so I'm just going to try to give him a good fight in the last two races now and hopefully I can at least go down fighting.

@Flaviu Bozga , did you also turn of record hot lap, only mine had the same problem when I only turned off replays, but then stopped when I also turned off the Hot lap, Maybe I was just lucky this race

Caitlin/Flaviu try these settings if they are different to what you currently use.

Yes. I was right. There is a .tmp file. With "Recording replay" OFF, when game it is closed the file it is deleted

That would be the definition of a bad race/day... props to you for managing to keep it going Caitlin... hardware wise and most importantly... spirit wise... most would have given up.

On my side it wasn't a terrible race... but I was all over the place... I recall two slight contact... sorry about those... it was probably on me on some level... I was surprise... a few time on how understeery my car was under pressure condition... back to the drawing board I guess...

Try to move replay folder to different hard drive if you have. Ideally ssd or even better nvm drive. Not sure if it can be done via some config file, but for sure it can be done via symlink in windows.

this track is special in the sense that i don't know any other which has so many different uncomfortable, yet somehow pleasurable corners, all elevated and undulated to boot!

sorry @Neil Wood for divebomb in practice, nothing personal, hehehe. nice streams btw!

@Flaviu Bozga these stutters of yours dauntingly remind me mine from recent times when i was running with second gen laptop i5. what's your cpu rating at https://www.cpubenchmark.net/ ? anything below 3000 can result in overloads and skips like that. try check with ctrl+c and watch the purple line, if it tops out with 35+ AI, it's the culprit. i'd get this 'effect' at big tracks with 20+ grids online. once a guy was following close and i teleported right into his cockpit. these overloads would happen when my car'd be in handling trouble (complex calculations) or when there's a multi-accident somewhere on track. Chrome running in background would produce such skips on it's own. anyways, best of luck sorting this out!

Well to my race, unfortunately my qualify was not so good but p5 was not too bad, I managed to get to p4 on the start and then got up to p3, really happy with that position but unfortunately could not creep up to P2, then as the race went on I was watching Kahel closing in on me and knew I wouldn't be able to hold him off, so lost P3 ,with a short time to go.
still I'm happy with the result.
Brilliant drive by the podium guys, Guido was again faultless and has this car more than sorted, also top marks to the guys I raced with, for hard and always fair driving which has always been my experience at SRO.
Thanks to Ken as always for the work on the admin side, and anyone else involved.
    Cheers Guys.

Congrats to podium player and thank you Admins for all the fun.
Awesome pace from top guy´s

With a PB still only 7 on grid , but was happy with that.
Could gain 1 place at the start , and could follow for a couple off laps
then I miss big way:oops: at the "druid" think that is the name, manage to save the car and a couple off laps
later was time again:rolleyes: , did some rally cross 3-4 times  ,during the race but could save the car everytime
with great luck. So 6th was more than I expect anyway .
Nice to see fellow team mates in 7 and 10th

Ps, still hate that I have no name over those cars , can see them at side and rear.
I have replay on ,could that help here :confused:
any one have more tip on what to do ?? Flaviu´s tip was already off

Just a note. After the last update I was sure I can't view anymore the labels over the cars. But ... I can see them only when my car it is really close to the car in front. I mean really close

not sure what you mean with that :) Names are turned on by "tab" and setting post processing quality to "low" made the trick for me. With higher settings I had no names above cars in VR
