rF2 is new for me now compared to 10 plus years ago, the last time I raced the game. I was looking online about this realistic aid and found this video below. Is this something I have to do, or is it set by the server?

For the most part, there's no need to change anything in the Player.json, Gilles. He's talking only about the AI. There's no AI running here.

There are a few settings you can tweak if you want, however. For instance, i have it set so my pit menu pops up when i cross the pit entry line. That helps me figure out where the speed limit begins. Stuff like that.

I wonder about that being AI in the video.
After searching for that realistic aid I was not able to find any info.
Where can I find this setting in image underlined below Realistic?

    What does it do?

AH! All that means is that if the sim car has TC or ABS etc, it will be available in the event. The real life GT3's for example, have on-board adjustable TC and ABS, so the modders have made them available in the sim car. You'll find these settings in the garage setup menus, and if they are adjustable in car, as they are with the GT3's you can set a wheel or keyboard button to adjust them.

(The game also has driving aids for these and beyond, but they won't be available. Only those you can set in the garage setup pages will be available.)
