Hello, With nearly all the sims, my Thrustmaster T300rs works fine. With AMS it's up and down, one time it works, one time it bugs. But for Pcars it's even worse. When I start a game and exit from pitbox, the steering wheel doesn't respond at all, nor the pedals. I've looked at the calibration settings, everything is ok the Thrustmaster is recognized and it responds to the calibration settings with no issue. So why it doesn't work in-game?
I had the same problem wheel would not work, I have a T500 on there I have a mod button light is red when I push the button it goes green then works ok in Project Cars. For all other sims I have to put it back so light is red. But not sure if you have 1 on your wheel.
Yes on the T300 there is also the switch mode, PS3 for PC and PS4 for PS4. The light on mine is red. Just for trying randomly I switched to PS4 mode but the light remains red. On a forum some guys said that when they connected the T3PA-Pro pedals set to the steering wheel, the light went from red to green. I didn't know the standard T3PA, the one I have, was for Formula cars and that the T3PA-Pro in inverted position was for GT. When I drove real life cars, it seemed to me that the standard T3PA was analogic to city cars and GT on sims, but now I'm doubting. Are you sure that if I plug a T3PA-Pro on it, this will make the T300's light green and that I can play Project Cars and all the other sims?
I don't have to plug anything in just push the button hold for a couple of seconds let go and then it changes to green.
I have done like you said but in Pcars it still doesn't work. The firmware is up to date so I don't know what to do.
Federico after calibration have you gone into the "EDIT ASSIGNMENTS" tab and set the pedals/buttons etc for what you want? Just completing calibration is not enough.
I have a T500 the green light is for the peddles in the gt mode, the red light is for peddles in the F1 mode
It works fine now. I just had to reassign the commands a few times and this issue was my fault because I didn't understand that in pCars, we have to wait until the car completely exits the pits before we can take control of the car. Cool!
Perhaps it's true. That's what I reproach both for pCars and AC. I wish they were like AMS and rF2 but they are sold on consoles so they are more popular.
