I watched the replay and I can say that yesterday it was really nice race. Looked better than I felt it during the race itself . I didn't have the best start and lost 2 places, but then during first laps it was really nice driving with close battles over whole field. Ben behind me most of the time, forced me to maximum focus, until he went off the track. Then I was driving quite alone and loosing the time after small mistakes till Ben was again all over me Final laps were really tight and exciting with Ben on my back and slowing Nick in my front. Unfortunately we had contact with Nick in semifinal lap, I ended in the barrier and lost 4 places. In last lap I was trying to catch Oli, but without success. Anyways - good race and I'm looking forward to the last one! Congratulation to podium winners, and as always - big respect to their driving
bit crazy at start but managed to get back into second, was all going well until got a tank slapper over the crest and ended up in the barrier, from that point on the car was pulling right so was off the pace, went with loose setup to try to save the fronts but it came back to bite me as rear was too unstable , good battle with patrik at the end shame it ended in contact but still an enjoyable first full race at SRO.
I enjoyed following Neil & Fabio for several laps and watching their fierce battle for position without wanting to get involved (as if I could ) in their championship tussle and keeping an eye on the gap back to Philipp, who my personal race was with. At one point they were running slower due to the battle which was allowing Philipp to catch up, but then they eased away again giving me the breathing space to focus on my race. One of my best runs in this series so far, even allowing for the usual front grip/tyre wear issues we encounter. Well done to Kiril on his pretty clear run to the win.
I quick enjoyed the race. I got a safe start and was in a bit of a train for a while, as this track is not easy to pass, although I did seem to have a similar pace to a lot of the guys mid pack. Nick have a big moment in front and I lost my car as I was focusing too much on Nick's tank slapper in front. Then had some great battles, I caught up to Patrik at the end, Nick was also being caught by us both. Just as I was trying to get a good run for the final corners on the penultimate lap, patrik and Nick got together and I squeezed through for a 6th Place finish. Was very happy with that I didn't stream this one I will try to stream the next round. Ben
