Doubt whether I'll be able to make the first round as I have visitors over the weekend. So see you all for the next one. Have a good race
I don't know !! haha i tried to use them but then i could not get on the server ;-( so for now they wont work .. maybe we need to have them installed on the server box .. i placed mine in packages then saw them next to the T5v20 ,that where you install them but like i said now i cant join the server .. so it looks like they have a diffrent version number T5-v2.2 thats why .. so for now IDK how we can all use them unless everyone uses them & we put them on the server ..
According to the rules Parc Fermé: From the moment when a car has set the first timed qualifying lap it is subjected to the Parc-Fermé regulations. Up to the start of the race, only a few works and changes on the car may be executed. (as per real DTM rules) What are the "few works and changes" that are allowed?
Did you guys remove any previous version of this mod before you installed it. Can't work out from what's being said the exact problem here. In the list of installed mods you should only have one version of the mod not 2. If that is the problem uninstall both then reinstall the latest build from URD.
My guess is the VEH files rather than the actual livery files. Certainly on AMS it compares the VEH files when you try to go online for race so if the files are not found you'll get booted back out again. Nice skin pack though and well done by the artist.
Because he made them rfcmp files he had to repack the mod and give it a new name T5 v2.2 I believe this is the issue & the server has T5 v2.0
You will be able to adjust fuel /tires /steer lock after your timed lap . Remember the front and rear ARB's are adjustable from the car ,also the fuel mixture .. You just need to map them from control's menu ..
lean/rich fuel mixture from 1 to 6, 6 is max power but uses allot of gas .. Lower number has slightly less power & saves gas ..
So it's like a boost.. i drove always with fuel mixture 5.. But i see.. One more thing, and forget my ignorance, in what cases would be good to change ARB's in race? because of tires?
That and maybe the car starts to change when fuel load drops and the / car balance changes . Keep in mind with the fuel mixture its not really boost but somthing like it & that the engin will also run hotter with max settings so make sure the rad is open enough!
do you have the latest Silverstone ? you should have URD T5 v2.0 Silverstone 2012 v1.72 (came out 2 weeks ago) Like Ricardo says the fuel mixture is down at the bottom of page 2 of garage .. You can also map the mixture setting to your wheel or keyboard and adjust it while driving ..
