My first race here and all i can say is this a nice place to race!:)
I wanted to race all season but life and job came in between.Really hope to keep my Sunday nights racing here.
Really liked the way admin prepare us for this race under mixed conditions like pros do!
Now for the race,1st lap turn 3 and i am in the inside and Neil overlapping me in the outside and we had a side kiss,my fault sorry,i spinned and lost many places.
From now on and in a damaged, dark blue suspension car, tried to be cautious and consistent.
Finished 5th,really enjoyed it,always rain brings exciting races.
Dont forget to thank our sportscaster and buy him a beer!;)
Hope to manage my schedule for the next race and join and enjoy racing with you!
congrats to the winner and everybody who participated!

@Robin Taylor It happens, I was probably half way round anyway, it was all a bit bunched up with loads of spray. Anyway, it put me onto the alternate strategy with @John vd Geest who'd also dropped to the back, think we both pitted twice and did enjoy the slicks on a mostly dry line for a couple of laps. Raced John close but fair right to the end with racing space given (and used!) low grip and no contact kept it close right to the last corners with John holding on for the position.

For dear life, might I add, and not a small amount of pressure from you. You were much faster than me at that point :)

Had the same problem in practice with this race. The transmission refuses to shift down gears untill I am nearly stopped. I updated the driver firmware but the problem persists. It happens on all tracks so I guess it is to do with the car. Open for suggestions.
    Thanks
    Michael
(Just to mention I turned off auto clutch and blips and using heal and toe, still could not get it to shift as required. Is it possible to erase this car and reload it again?)

You are aware that you can't apply "any" throttle when downshifting? Your foot has to be completely of the pedal.
The car is working as it should, so it's not that.

If you haven't already, you can also try adding some dead zone to the pedal. It might not be showing the game that you are fully off throttle (you can check and set this on the settings calibration page).

To answer both John and Barret I increased the dead zone on the accelerator and became super aware of keeping my foot off the pedal. Also noticed the purple light indicate when to shift down. All seems to work now. A little knowledge goes a long way.
    Thanks guys.

I thought the purple lights were tyres locking?

Ok the best time to shift is when the tires are locked.
