V1.5 PHYSICS REVISIONS As per the latest dev update, V1.4.8 includes extensive physics revisions to an initial batch of car classes, revisions which are expected to be completed for all cars in the game by the update that follows this one 4-5 weeks from now (v1.5.0). IMPORTANT: all revised cars MUST have the setup reset - users can do so either by resetting each model individually from their setup menu, or for all cars by deleting your local Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\123456789\automobilista 2\vehiclesetups folder (please note however this would also delete your existing setups from currently unrevised cars that don´t require the reset yet). The AI dry performance is supposed to be well calibrated to the player performance for all classes already revised - if you still notice any discrepancies please report the car / track combo along with eventual specific details. Wet weather is still not fully calibrated, with some classes still needing further adjustments both to player tire as well as wet calibration - this we expect to cover in time for official release. (starting fresh for beta is advised, forced reset likely to follow before main release); When saving a strategy if only fronts or only rears option would be valid for the compounds selected this is automatically applied for the user; Time estimation for changes will now reflect the actual compounds selected regardless of front/rear/all setting Updated Trueforce support, increased rate, cleaner TF audio effects. I Have been beta testing these new features with the reiza team over the last few weeks and I can tell you the new 1.5 psyx for all cars and of course, the dirt package is amazing!
During the beta testing of the dirt stuff, I noticed the tweaks they made along the way to net code have smoothed out the MP side allot .. They dont talk about it to much but these are in the change log . Added session auto-advance functionality for multiplayer sessions Minor adjustments to net code Vehicles from human opponents are now collidable during Multiplayer full course yellow The most impressive changes come threw the 1.5 psyx ! it feels like a different sim now, allot closer to how rF2 feels to me. Then theirs this, Free base game content: Added P1 Gen2 class featuring Metalmoro AJR Gen 2, Sigma P1 G5 & Ginetta G58
It's cool that they improved on the physics side, but we need a good stable multiplayer. If / when that's good enough, I would love to drive AM2. Single player gets boring after a while.
In our beta tests, we had 16 players (max for the dirt tracks) and me being in the US playing on the euro servers I had no issues!
I agree! Im up for suggestions, Im thinking to get as many players as possible we should stick with default content however the DLC is amazing lol ..
Tried some of the dirt, quite like it, don't know if it's something I would do regularly. Some of the glaring UI bugs are STILL not fixed after all this time which is disappointing.
If you're talking about the buttons not highlighting until you hover a few times, that's a leftover bug from the maddness engine and is from adding gamepad useability....
That... plus other stuff. UI needs an overhaul with a pass on usability. Too many things hidden within menus and separately. Plus the "error press OK" on the right of the screen for everything is very annoying.
So, I let the update install, but now I'm only getting 90 degrees rotation on either side in the wheel configuration, while it should be 450. What were the files that I should delete to reset the FFB and stuff?
