now i think the lemans 2018 version was a differnt version. i cannot dowmload the le mans 24h paid dlc from the workshop because it is "HIDDEN"
As I posted earlier Bjorn, and also in pre-race chat, this was the procedure we used: Start Procedure for this race On green we will go single file in grid position at max 120 kph. The race will start exiting Tertre Rouge onto the Mulsanne Straight, to avoid a full lap at formation speed. This was to avoid having to run a full lap of this track as a formation lap at reduced speed. For a short race like this it would not have added anything to the experience and would have only wasted time.
yes i purchased the paid dlc. here is the thing... i really do not recommend anyone to unsubscribe one of the paid dlcs from the steam workshop. you cant subscribe it once again because, a: its not in the workshop listed at all, and b: if you go to your steam inventory, all your purchased dlcs is listet, but if you click on "show in workshop", you get the error that its hidden or that i dont have the authority for this dlc lol.... sorry for my bad english dont know how to describe it better. So dont do the same mistake like i did. now i reinstall the whole 200gb rfactor 2 and hopefully it downloads everything again its just a very bad joke if you buy content, and you dont have the permission/access to it....
Don't' start that if you haven't, there is a way to manage DLC content but I need to find it again. I'll let you know unless somebody beats me to it
Good race, got faster and faster as found new points to brake at and new ways of doing some of the corners but P1 was uncatchable.
Forgot to write that I unsubscribed few tracks and cars because I needed space in my pc. Just so you don't I think I am retarded, why im doing this Like I said it reinstalls everything right now, if I have problems then I would be very glad for your help. Thank you!
rf2 is weird sometimes, I bought the Indy Car DLC some time ago and I had do unsubscribe all old content to be able to use it in the competition mode... Probably not a wise thing to do that agin. Thanks for the info, hopefully see you next time. To my race, spun at the beginning of my quali lap, lucky to still start P4. In the race I fought the whole time with Kai, really intense. I never had driven Le Mans in a race before and you really underestimate this track. We both pushed us to the limit but there was still plenty of time to gain. In addition, probably 1-7 was still too much drag for this track.
Yes for the driving aspects RF2 is great, but softwarewise it's hands down one if the biggest garbage piles I ever knew.... I was so excited for my first Le Mans online race, and then this crap... spoiled my whole evening I hope at least you guys had fun, how did you like the race? In a big track like Lemans it could get pretty lonely with about 13 people
Congrats to all podium players awesome speed there Also thank you to admins for the job they do for us . Will have to practise a lot more with those cars, even though I like P1-3. I sure can´t handle them , lost the car a 4-5 times yesterday. Sorry to Kai I think it was, hit by one off those in qualy session turn 2
Agree that it can, but in the absence of a big grid I still like to use good quality tracks like this one. You can still enjoy trying to get the best out of yourself and the car even when running in a bit of a void.
Bought 397's P3's some time ago but never really liked them. This Enduracers version is so much more fun to drive (and the cockpit looks better in VR than 397's). Thanks for the race. Loved it (what's not to love about driving a Prototype around such a great circuit?) Started right behind Ken, which was a big worry, as the last time I started behind Ken I rear-ended him (not as much fun as it sounds) going into the first corner. I was so conscience of not repeating this that I psyched myself into spinning at the first corner! Immediately went from 7th to last and expected a lonely race, but ended up thoroughly enjoying the race. Like I said, what's not to enjoy with a P car and Le Mans. Congrats to podium and thanks Admin (and @Ed Jones) for a great event. Hope to be able to do at least a couple more races in this series.
