Congrats to the winner, and podium, I got turned around in T3 or T4 ran the race with damage 2 secs off my own pace, decided to pit as the leaders were close to lapping me and I didn't want to get in their way. Had a spin myself outa T1 and decided to call it. good race all

Got 4th place on the last lap after the last corner ... that was a surprise. Karl was just standing there short of the finish line. Out of fuel?

    Q just nailed it
R first 20minutes was tough getting into the rhytm. wide here, wide there and game giving points. Whole race managing tires, making sure not to lock ever on braking and watching @Nick Westy shadow me 50 minutes. It wasnt easy! Was playing the end game whole race, figured that i cruise, Nick must push more thus if i dont mess up brakings and keep car gently on track, chances are he is going to be in trouble. Im sure he had those penaltypoints piling up aswell. Its damn hard when have to go fast and that damn corner comes everytime and kind of panic beforehand.
Super happy with win. Practiced for this one more than usual and guess it showed.
Someone asked setup so its posted here on SRO site under setups.

    cheers \o/

Really fun race... and for once I had a fairly consistent pace.

Dramatic finish tough... had to save fuel for the last 20min... thought I saved enough... but I was wrong.
Was distracted by some really good battle... so that was worth it at least... 'not the destination, but the journey...' I guess .

tried to pressure toni into a mistake whilst trying not to destroy the tyres but he did not make one so the gap stayed at around a second for most of the race, our pace was identical, up until the last laps when I had to fuel save like crazy and realized I was 1 liter short going onto the last lap so had to pit for a splash which cost me second.

Great race as long as it lasted...
Lost it at Rouge and crushed.1 or 2 laps before coming hot at 1st right I think Kahel kissed my back and I got damage(light blue). From then on the car changed especially at fast corners.
Didn't expect such a change in aero balance by that slight touch.
I don't blame Kahel it was my mistake.
I watched the broadcast and omg!
Porsche Cup car offer great races and when drivers know the word sportsmanship, like here, races are unforgettable!
Congrats to the winner, what a pace,1sec faster every lap!
    What a dramatic finish!
Thanks to the admins and our broadcaster!
    See you all@Zandvoort:)
To admin, any plans for next season(car wise)?

    You mean for Sundays?
The next Sunday series is with the Formula 1 2023 mod.
I would like to do another Porsche series, since S397 has released a 2023 Porsche Carerra Cup GB Liveries pack. We could do another official series from any part in the world.
But it would have to wait until the F1 series has finished, which is also pretty good :)

    First:
Great Broadcast Rob. You're really bringing it alive. It's always something to look forward to.

    Second:
With Tonie's first and my fourth place, our team finds itself NR.1 IN THE TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP ...
I just thought I'd casually mention it ...
I might have to increase mr. Talvitie's salary now ... :D.
With Mr. Talvitie being my secret weapon, we might win the Teams championship in the last round at Zandvoort. Unless the secrets weapon has to work that weekend ....

    Hi guys
Was a lot of fun, nice battles. Got into the barrier at Eau Rouge, still wondering what happened, was very strange and looked weird at the broadcast. Is it possible that the FR tire got hooked somehow to the inner curb, does someone had a similar experience? Great race by super Toni, cant believe his pace especially his pole lap (where did you cut? lol). and Nick also during the race super fast and again bad luck.
see you for Johns home race.

    Yeah, that's clever :p.
Btw, your luck must be on the up and up, because if I hadn't spun on lap 5 from a tank slapper and lost 8 seconds,
I would have had you too when you pitted at the end. :D:cool::eek:.

    You mean this black cat?

yeah I must stop trying to cut it fine on the fuel to save weight, did not count on toni doing an extra lap.

your gonna need more than a ladder to stop this black cat :)

The week leading up to this race I was spotting thunderstorms. But the closer the race got this changed back to sunny. Might have been interesting to race in the rain here!

Before the race start I would have been happy with a top 10. I only managed two flying laps in qually, pushed too hard and got track limits for a few laps. The chicane was a mess on the first lap with people doing the "f1 thing" of slowing down to get a gap at the last minute. Then into turn 1 there was a car way off the qually pace just hanging about on the racing line. Come on guys, get it together!

Race started and being on the inside line I just wanted to keep it calm and hope no one did a Grosjean and dived up my inside to make it 4 wide. I think I must have understeered on exit as 1 of the two cars on the outside were closer than I thought. Thankfully side to side contact was OK and we ran down the hill.

Into Les Combes and I held my breath for some diving bombing. Fortunately it wasn't against me... but a car or so ahead, but I wasn't to get away with it as suddenly the track was blocked and I had to take avoiding action. The guy who caused the melee was off into the distance while the rest of us were dealing with the aftermath. I think I must have got the worst of it, 11th down to about 17th with WORK TO DO!

I then had to fight my way back the field keeping on the grey stuff. A few freebies along the way from drivers forgetting it's a 60 mins race. I had no kind of laptime for the leaders but could put together consistent slow pace. Found myself in the top 10 for the latter half of the race and the gap ahead and behind were growing. I was happy with that and then I must have blacked out finding under 10 mins to go. "might as well use up these tyres then!" I thought. May have left my late race charge to the last minute but I gave it a go anyway. Lucky @Jason Whited seemed to running out of rubber and locking a few tyres. It came to the last lap and I knew of only a few places I could gain on the car in front.

Through Double Gauche I could get the front end to bite a bit more on exit and I gained on Jason. His car did a strange side to side wiggle and I was trying to predict what side the car would go. I had to guess the outside was free so I braked a little later and knowing I had the inside on the second part of Les Fagnes. Seen it done on the TV! :)

Up to 8th after a hard fought last few laps. Then it turned to 7th as someone dropped down the timesheets. Happy with that considering the start I had! It was harder work than it needed to be!!

The finale should be a cracker.... I am keeping an eye on the weather!!

Well done on the broadcast @Rob Milliken, seems people keep changing their cars and having uppercase names messing up your overlays! :)

    Hi Lorne
I just saw your post and hope all is well in your town. There are crazy fires everywhere. A month ago we had a large fire burning for a few weeks just west of where I live. I felt bad for those who lost property. I guy I know lost his garage and old Harley D. Good news the fire fighters saved the house. I hope they can do the same for your town.
In 98 I had a house fire and lost everything so I kind of know the meaning of lose. Good luck.
    Michael
