DRS is not working on the server but is in Solo driver. Is it just me? Someone please confirm...

 

Haha.... I didn't even realise there was DRS!
I wonder how many seconds can be gained by using it properly?

 

I’m not sure how to do this change as it’s been so long! Lol. How do I add/change my team name options?

 

Second time lucky, not sure the usual method of attaching images is not working, maybe because they are too large?

I know this league is not being streamed but I decided to create a livery anyway

One of my friends is a team owner and racer on GPVWC (a very serious single seater online league) and he generally uses Williams based liveries on his cars. The cars he races are GP3/GP2 level. He's reluctant I think to give me a drive in his team as he wants to win races and I know I'm probably not good enough, which is slightly hurtful but fair enough! ha-ha.

So just for fun I'll race for his team on here instead under their name of "Priority 1" and I've used the Gulf liveried Williams F1 car from this year as inspiration. Looks pretty cool and I'm pleased with it.

Interesting mod, it's an old style DX9 version mod so you have to use the tricks we used to use on DX9 based games (GameStockCar for example) Adjusting the Alpha Layer, etc. I'd forgotten most of it! There are no region maps on this mod to control finish, glossiness, etc.

So the original blue I used on the car tended to look green or purple in the game. I had to apply adjustment maps to control it.

first victory in 20024. wow!! I didn’t expect it before the pit stop, there was no pace at all on hard, I decided to take a risk and installed soft, it turned out to be the right choice!

 

Good race, happy with pace. was pushing little too hard and lost little time but 2nd stint was much better.
Followed @Matej Dakskobler 1st stint and was hoping for some sort of battle in front so could sneak through.
Then after pits @Roman Granatovich swapped to meds i think and no point to start any kind of fight when other guy is 1 second faster with different tyre. Oh softs!11! wutta hell...
I was stuck on hards from practice to qualifying to race so there was no other option for me.

 

Good race guys..Congrats Roman and podium. I took a hit into T1, dropped back to 12th, eventually got back up to 5th, lost the tyres at the end of 2nd stint and lost a place to @Michał Mazurek. On to the next
