    !Danger! On the apex in the last hairpin is the door to no man's land. I found it in the last series here. Drive on the grass directly in the apex and you will see...

    Probably unable to attend tonight guys... Apologies, not enough time.
    Thanks everyone - it's been a nice series.

    Better race than expected, because I needed a while to get up to pace. Had a good start and again a sniff on Kiril. But I stayed in third and Paul made me work hard to keep it. It was not enough to keep P3 in the championship, but that was always a mission impossible.
    Anyway, thanks for the competition and hosting, see you at the next series.

    So what can I say about this last race of the series.
    Didn't get much practice as my practice time was allotted for 2 other race I had this week. Did about 5 laps offline to get to know the track. Not really a difficult track as I soon realized.
    On raceday got in the server early to get a few more laps in as I thought my setup was not spot on.
    When others joined I got a sense of what the laptimes would have to be. Up until then I was not going all out and was only slightly faster than the others. That was fine I believed. That was until Kiril showed up and started posting blistering times. For the series win I only needed a result, so I wasn't too bothered about that. But about 5 minutes before qualifying my competitive nature got the better of me and started doing some on the limit laps. Made some errors, but they showed me what was possible and what not.
    Quali;
    I had only one goal for this. Get pole (again my competitive nature).
    Made it by 0.007 seconds. And that was a stunning lap. So Kiril's lap must have been equally stunning. Had a quick look at the telemetry and saw where he was faster and where I was faster. It showed we either had different setups or steered the car differently and in the end were still just as fast as eachother. Amazing...
    Race:
    At the start the goal was to get through the first corner in first place and just drive my own race. Again I had the fortune of Kiril having a slowish start as 3rd (Philipp I think) was fighting him into the 1st corner. Again to my advantage. Had a sound lead at the end of lap 1 and didn't look back from then on. Car was slightly twitchy on some corners, but it was OK. But then 3 laps from the end the tires simply gave up grip. Did what I could to maintain the gap. It worked and I think Kiril had the same issue.
    Anyway, took 1st and the series. But I have to say it wasn't easy. Every race was 45 minutes of full concentration with almost no moments to relax.

    Enjoyed this one and will for sure join the next one. We raced that car 4 or 5 years ago. Those races were epic for sure. Will try to get Alex back in as he likes these cars too and might even be slightly faster than me in these (and other cars).

    Very well done on a clean sweep in the series Roy. You certainly have got a handle on AC for sure :). At the moment it's probably the sim that I have the most difficulty with, particularly getting setup changes to do something I want and especially the tyre temps which don't seem to react to any changes I make.
