Well, interesting, but it is too expensive for my taste. I really like AMS2 but ... I can't understand that no join during race thing. Sometime I see a combo I like and I can't join for 5-10 minutes because race it is started. In that moment, quit AMS2 and start ... ACC (or AC where sadly from so many beautiful tracks and cars ... you can found only GT3/Mazda MX5 on Monza, Spa, Brands Hatch, Vallelunga and Laguna Seca) . Really sorry for AMS2 and also for rFactor2 where still, you don't know what cars are used in a server.
Yes, valid points .., rF2 is a lot better now that you can use the UI to see and install what cars you're missing & have DLC installed that you don't need to buy (can't drive them unless you own them but you can get on the server and drive what you do own or any free content that's on the server alongside them) As for AMS2, I joined for the purpose of being along for the MP side of development & they are working on tweaking the system to be a bit more admin friendly so I will keep you posted!
Just to keep any of you AMS2 fans up on what's happening ... Today we are testing new a multiplayer build to test MP-Stability and revisions! being made along the way. These tests are great and we have the devs racing along with us! 3 sessions today .... That's all I can say for now
It's been a long time coming but it's finally getting closer to the 1.6 update! As an official paddock club member, I have been getting and testing all the betas as they roll out, sometimes 2 per week! We also have 4 MP beta tests per week now, 2 from Reiza and 2 from LFM who's working closely with Rieza to try and get this sims MP up to snuff to run on their platform, although I am not allowed to comment due to the ula I will say this game is making great strides in both performance and content! Lots of new stuff including some iconic tracks from this side of the pond as well as some new manufacturers adding another iconic brand to the already brand-heavy sim! some will be DLC but others are going to be free & available with the 1.6 update. I think everyone will be pleased with what's coming. Be ready for some new "AMS2 Test Series" as soon as the update drops!
