BROADCAST This special event will be broadcast by Rob Milliken (and maybe a special guest) THE RACE We will simulate the Le Mans 24H by starting the race in-game at 16:00 PM and doing the race in 2.4 hours (144 minutes) with a timescale of x10. This will give us a full day-night-day cycle. This is a dry race until the last 30 minutes, where it will rain. PITSTOPS You have to enter the pit lane at the official pit lane ENTRY and go out at the official pit lane EXIT. It is not allowed to cut into / or leave your pit box in the middle of the pit lane over the closed line. If you do this, you will get a 30 seconds time penalty on your end result. It is erratic behaviour and dangerous to other drivers. CAR CLASSES There are 3 car classes in this event: Class 1 Division II Alfa Romeo Guilia TZ___________top speed 233 km/h | FPL 7.11 | tankcapacity 100 litres Division II Alpine A110__________________top speed 231 km/h | FPL 4.31 | tankcapacity 40 litres Division II Lotus 23B____________________top speed 230 km/h | FPL 3.49 | tankcapacity 34 litres Division II Porsche 904 GTS______________top speed 237 km/h | FPL 7.18 | tankcapacity 110 litres Class 2 Division III Corvette C2 Stingray Division III Ferrari 250 GTO Series I Division III Shelby Daytona Coupe Class 3 Prototype Ferrari 330 P4 ________________top speed 314 km/h | FPL 5.34 | tankcapacity 114 litres (best balanced, lightest, short braking distance) Prototype Ford GT40 Mk.IV ______________top speed 339 km/h | FPL 4.36 | tankcapacity 159 litres (very heavy, extreme long braking distance, impressive top-speed) Prototype Jaguar XJ13 1967 _____________top speed 324 km/h | FPL 5.98 | tankcapacity 181 litres (medium heavy, medium braking distance, rain tyres-but sketchy in the rain) The cars inside each class are not BOP'd in terms of straightline top-speed. The Balance Of Performance comes from characteristics like braking distance, car weight, max. fuel-tank capacity, fuel per lap, etc. In that sense, they are historically simulated. Look at the data I got from testing Division II and the Prototypes above. You have to pick the car that is best suited for you.
