Just hours away from the release of 1.0! lets hope the bugs are few and far lol .. One cool feature coming > Le Mans Ultimate First Driver Swap and Team Races – Everything You Need to Know - Le Mans Ultimate We do have the SRO FKR Team for anyone that's interested in some off site SRO team events like the 6 hours of Qatar ..
My first impressions of 1.0 are all positive! I never had any major issues with the game from day 1, just a few non-game-breaking things along the way .. The gameplay seems to have improved on my side. Just going off the dailies, in a race with 20 cars, it was smooth as silk! I also took the new Merc GT3 out and liked the way it handled right away. The gpx seem to have also improved for me. Crisp details, even down to bits of grass flying up in the dirt clouds lol.. The Ui in-game menus have changed a bit regarding replays & on-screen menus. Like the replay menu is now accessed from a small toolbar at the top of the screen, you have a few selections from there, and one of them is to bring up the now streamlined replay bar, which will still appear at the bottom once you activate it from the top toolbar. It feels like they also tweaked the psyx/tire/asb side of things, more like a fine-tuning of what they introduced in the last patch. All & all I give it a big thumbs up! As useauall their is a percentage of players that still have issues, & it seems it's always the same players in the support forums complaining about the same things. With all the different PC specs and configurations, these things will always take longer to sort out. I would say the affected playerbase results in less than 10% of all players that have these issues.. My conclusions come from online play where in almost all of my races of 20+ cars, I hardly ever see anyone dropping out who has not had their car destroyed
Yeah, i didn't do a race yesterday, but i did spend some time running online practice in the McLaren at LeMans, and my impression was overwhelmingly positive. Only (on-going) "bug" i noticed is that they still don't recognize what setup you have loaded when you go to save a change after a run. The game will show to override whatever setup name you have selected as "assigned", even if the actual setup it will be saving is whatever current settings you went to track with from a different setup name (if that makes sense). And it will force you to redo the entire setup name if you have no "assigned". Nice step forward in my opinion!
