A reminder to everyone to make sure you select one of the cars available in the various classes which has the 180bhp engine, otherwise you will be at a disadvantage with one of the lower power engines.

I realised that the server configuration was wrongly set to allow cars with more power than 180bhp, which was all those named with colours rather than a team/driver name e.g. Black with Gold stripe etc.
A new vmod has been created to remove these cars from selection on the server, so only cars with power up to 180bhp can be selected. The new vmod will load when you join the server.

Looking at practice laps wasnt too sure if had a chance as Nick and Robin were much faster but then it just clicked somehow.
Perfect car to train for smoothiness as every correction, every radical weight transfer event slows you down. Specially braking is the key and then acceleration. Smooth gradual decrease - increase.

@Nuno Rodrigues wellcome back buddy! check January events, some good stuff starting. Hoping to see you on track!

I must take the blame for the lap 1 mayhem, should have known better than to stick it down the inside at the old hairpin, knew Toni was gonna get away if I did not pass Neil quickly but should have waited for a better opportunity, did a drive thru which made my race rather interesting battling back through the field, good 3 way battle with Neil and Nuno, oil temps were getting hot afterwards so went into management mode to bring it home.

I think with all your wins at SRO Toni, you should be handing out donuts not driving them :D

Nice nimble cars but I don't get why I was so slow in the race. I received heavy damage after I was not able to avoid Neil. (I knew that I was in trouble when he started rolling back, but I already had commited to go right...). Car was good to go continue, but somehow had no speed (I double checked, I drove the 180 one). Additionally, the high left front deg is a mystery to me, as I have no idea what I did so much different than the others (Apart from Ben, who had the same problem). And even though I still finished where I started, if you are slow then atleast be consistently slow

I am looking forward to solve some of those mysteries in the next round.

My experience was that the front right tyre had the higher degradation in comparison to the other tyres, which is very odd for a clockwise circuit. Maybe the roll on this car lifts the front right which then slides across the track surface, causing the degradation? A mystery for sure .

Well I would love to have your tyre deg numbers, because even though as expected the left front wear was higher, it was way to high. It is probably as you said, very subtle slides have a big impact and therefore everyone has mostly a unique tyre deg. When I understand it, I can give you advice how to shred the left front on a clockwise circuit ;)

I think I still had around 86 showing for the front left and around 75 for the front right.

you can browse racedata from results viewer, go results, pick a race and there are lots of tabs to choose from lap times, tyre wear and fuel consumption and so on.
@Philipp Pichler you left front was cooking so it must be right hand turns where you either lock it ( for me it was little front biased too much of brake balance ) or another thing is that turn wheel too much in to the corner thus front wheels lose the grip and slide and understeer. And when this happens on right hander, you weight is on the left front.

Ok, i watched couple of your corners and this is what happens...
    1. you brake into corner like everybody else, gradually decreasing braking pressure. Good!
    2. much too soon and way before apex you just stop braking. Brake all the way and continue that decreacing pressure on brake pedal. Should have just a little there all the way into the corner. At this point, car turns actually even without too much steering. HOMEWORK: search " Suellio Almeida trail braking " at youtube.
    3. front tires lose the grip as cars weight was on front but suddenly it lifts up.
    4. you try to get by it by adding steering angle but that just escalates problems as fronts lose now even more grip because of too much steering angle and thing just escalate.
I made quick video of you in couple turns but specially on T1 here its clear. Its private so ill post link via messages.

You are correct. That is the reason for example smoking inner front tire on many occasions. Weight plus grip is on left side on right hand corner.
