SIGN UP HERE NORISRING The Norisring is a street circuit in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. Originally established as a motorcycle racing venue in 1947 and named in a 1950 competition to win a light motorcycle, the track became known as a sports car racing venue in the 1970s. Since 2000, it has been annually used by the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, the premier Germany-based touring car racing series. The length of the simple track with two hairpin turns and a chicane has been set to 2.300 km (1.429 mi) since 1972, after various lengths were used in its early years. FORD CAPRI NOTE On the Ford Capri, the centre mirror is flipped. The virtual mirror is okay, so you can use that one. It is being worked on

I'm getting the same problem as Doug above. I downloaded and unzipped both Capri files. Do I put them into Packages? Or somewhere else? Sorry, I really should know by now! Thanks.
Hi Julian, 1. Unpack the files. 2. Put all cars in Packages and install (mod manager or within the game) - first install the Ford_Capri_DRM_v1.7s - second install the CAPRI 1.7sNW_Update 3. Install the other cars: - Lancia Montecarlo - BMW M1 - Porsche 935 - BMW E21 320i You can find the Ford Capri in the DRM folder You can find the other 4 cars in the 00_Group 5 folder.
Thanks John, I thought I already had the other cars? Perhaps I haven't - but the error message I get trying to join the server has a cross next to the Capri, and ticks next to the track and other cars?
MOD UPDATE! 1. Neil Wood has corrected the flipped centre mirror of some cars and made a Steam workshop item that installs the whole pack in one go. The server is not yet updated, because Neil has to do an update to the mod later. Before clicking the Steam link: Uninstall and delete the old car pack Ford Capri and 00 Group 5. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3641623424 2. Neil Wood is going to broadcast the DRM series. So that will make the series extra cool.
Hello, strangely enough, I can hardly hear the engine (just the turbo and related noises) on these cars, except for the M1 and the Capri, where you can hear the engine clearly! I hope this update will fix that. Does anyone else have this problem? It's also a shame, even if it's not a big deal, that the instruments don't work, at least the rev counter...
This mod is very early stages and the developer Bug66 has gone off the radar. But the physics are very good, so we have to take the good with the bad. Sound: It helps if you go to "Settings/Sound" and reselect device "auto/speaker/headphone". That turns the sound up.
I think these cars use the older sound engine so adjustments will be under the "legacy" section in game. Turning down the sound effects should dampen the turbo whistle a bit I think.
